Rats. Did I make pudding or mousse? I got my recipe off the Internet, and all the ones I've seen look the same to me. . . .
How's this one? http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/chocolate-avocado-mousse-recipe.html
I like the looks of this one ^^^^
This one looks more like the one I made: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/234324/chocolate-avocado-pudding/
When I made mine, I used xylitol instead of sugars.0 -

Looks good!1 -
I tried it once. Never again. It was really good but not enough to warrant the calories. It had similar calories to real chocolate mousse (if not more) and wasn't as fluffy.2

I've had it a few times. It's not about the calories, but is perfect for paleo folks or people trying to eliminate dairy1

Agreed. For me, a good way to use up avocado that's starting to hang around a little too long. Hate wasting food0 -
I actually like it, even though it does have a good amount of calories. I usually just use 1 avocado, 1 older banana and a bunch (maybe 1/4 cup or more) cocoa powder, and throw it in the food processor. I never used sweetener, but I like darker chocolate anyways.0

I don't like to sub avocados or beans in my baked goods. Apple sauce for sugar is fine, but beans for flour....It's not awful but it's just not the same.
For a chocolately, dairy free dessert I make the skinnytaste chocolate silk pie from the cookbook....https://www.birchbox.com/magazine/article/tofu-chocolate-pie-recipe-skinnytaste. I just buy the crust though, I'm lazy.0 -
I understand where you are coming from, it's just that I, personally, don't feel that spending 1/3 of my daily allowance on a substitution is worth it. It might be worth it for others of course.0
