I grew up in California 5 minutes from the ocean. But since I got out of CA I've lived in Oklahoma, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa and Colorado! Gettin around! South Dakota is my favorite so far.

I've been really into chia seeds and probiotics lately. Root juice (found @ trader joes) was my favorite with the chia seeds so far. Yakult yogurt probiotic drink is 50 calories and a pretty good snack.

I am not sure of your location, but in some areas, there are bountiful baskets food co-op. It's about $15 for a bunch of fruit and veggies. You can get breads and add-ons too. Sure helps me save on my grocery bill.

Tofu spring rolls, Mongolian tofu, sukiyaki, tofu vegetable patties, tofu paad Thai, hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, you can also use it as a ricotta substitute (by adding Italian seasonings, garlic and nutritional yeast) or just to add more protein to a cheese lasagna.

Spinach salad with pecans & dried cranberries. And a teaspoon of chia seeds in a cup of carrot juice. I do have to say I'm about ready for a snack though!

I love that mix with an avocado! I throw it all in a food processor, then in the fridge to harden to a fudge consistancey.
