Cardio - bike, swimming, elliptical Pilates, yoga and core work Weighted stuff should be ok just build it up gently and see how you feel

Add me if you like! You can totally do this!

I'm totally with you on that! Always think I could do a quick fix and lose the last bit but thankfully sense kicks in and I realise it would just come back on and I'd have to do it properly! So have never caved in!

I would enjoy the honeymoon/ vacation and just get back on track afterwards! You will automatically try and do better when away because you've been at it for a while but don't deny yourself the pleasure of the vacation by overstressing about food! It's only for a short special time and we are all in this for the long haul!

This is mine too! Weigh in tomorrow so hopefully that goal is a bit closer!
-
25lb down so far, about 15 more to go hopefully although I'm now back in normal bmi!
-
I have prob saved money since eating better because I prepare food to take to work rather than buying pre packed stuff! Also not buying any of the chocolate/ crisps etc

First few days are the hardest! I'm now no Diet Coke for over a year! And minimal diet soda of any sort in that time other than a couple of glasses in the last few days but can really take it or leave it now! It doesn't change weight loss I don't think but I do feel better for it!

Hi all! I'm stacey, orthopaedic registrar in Northern Ireland. Have lost 22lb through mfp since end of October 15, have about another 15lb to go but that may change depending on how I look! I know the scale isn't everything.
-
I track calories and exercise, aim for my 10k steps and use my old clothes as a measure of how much I've slimed down. I have taken some progress pics along the way to see how I'm getting more definition.
-
Ortho reg with another 15-20lb to go, we can do this!
-
To get to the 10kg lost - only 1.2kg away - might make it by Xmas!
-
Go shopping in my old wardrobe! It's great finding clothes that now fit again! Saves money and is motivating!
-
It's actually 5 weeks, about.[/quote] Actually it's 26 days til Jan 2nd so less than 4 weeks. May want to check your maths! Explains totally unrealistic goals!
-
12lb in 4 weeks is a very optimistic target I hate to say! Why does it have to be so quick?
-
Hey! 31 and have lost 15lb so far, another 25 ish to go I think! Previously was 145 and was happy with my level of fitness but a relationship resulted in big weight gain and lost fitness! Time to get back on track! Feel free to add me!
-
Hi, also on 1200 a day but eat some exercise ones back too, trying to stay under 1500 most days. 15lb down in a month! We can do this! Feel free to add me!
-
Well done on the loss! That's amazing! Just make sure you are taking enough calories as you are upping the activity! Good luck for the rest! I reckon you'll make 300 for the new year!

I'm in! Anything would be good but ideally 6-7 pounds by Xmas!
