@PixelPuff, thank goodness for those nylons! LOL I was going to mention the Danskin Now dri-more bootcut (yoga) pants from Walmart have been my go to as a stay home with the kids. One size will get me through 2-3 size changes and even did great through a pregnancy. The only downside is that the black fades pretty quickly…

I took a nap today after a week of not sleeping well (one year old has had a messed up sleep schedule and insists that I be up with him :s ), and I realized that naps are so rare now. I used to nap EVERY day because I HAD to just to get by. Now I have a ton of energy to get by without them. I can handle so much more in…

Sounds bittersweet! I recently purged my maternity clothes and had a moment of sadness to do so even though it made no sense. It doesn't mean I'm done having kids, it just means I refuse to be a size 20 when/if I'm next pregnant. Still brought back so many memories...

@mysteps2beauty, I've heard having a "uniform" each day really helps a person be more productive with less decisions to make. Sounds stylish!

Oh my! I don't know if I could stop laughing if this had happened to me :) great tips-thanks!

Will have try the shrinking tips! I'm also currently trying my hand at sewing with a borrowed sewing machine.

Keep it up! I see great tips in here: get pants that allow for a belt. And (I'm going to assume) shirts with a closer neckline. I always wear scoop neck shirts and they get quite indecent quickly. Nothing like giving a peek of the bra every time i bend over.

I did finally check out a local goodwill and found so great items. Went back again and found nothing. It's frustrating that's it's so hit and miss but that's the nature of the beast.

I went canoeing for the first time with my husband today. I'm not a great swimmer so don't do a lot of water activities, but finally felt "balanced" enough to do it. Maybe that doesn't make sense but after losing weight and building strength, I feel more in control of my body.

Just made these delightful French toast sticks. Loved that there is pumpkin included. Big hit in our house! https://onceamonthmeals.com/recipes/toddler-french-toast-sticks/

I recently attended a bridal shower, and I found myself shifting around quite a bit in my chair. I finally realized that I wasn't used to sitting still for so long. It was actually painful! After realizing this, I made it a point to get up and walk every 15 minutes or so---much better. I shudder when I think back to when I…

No full body pics yet. I've lost 50 lbs since 2013 and husband is down nearly 40. It took me 3 years to lose 20 lbs on my own. Once the hubby and I started working on it together it's taken me less than 4 months to lose an additional 30 lbs. It's so much easier to be on the same page!

Oh no...I will be weaning soon and I hope this doesn't happen. I wonder if it could be hormone adjustment?

I would always binge during nap time. Once I started planning my meals and sticking to certain meal times (so I wasn't starving), I made sure to have something planned during the normal binge time. Such as cleaning a certain room, sewing, reading, something to keep my mind occupied. It's no longer a habit for me. But it…

I'm concerned that each time I indulge, it will spiral into a binge which will continue until I've regained everything. Dramatic, huh?

Keep in mind also that some people gain more in the beginning of the pregnancy and then slow down naturally, others gain the whole time while others only gain at the end. Eat when hungry and try to eat healthy foods most of the time. I stress ate my first pregnancy and was miserable because of all the gain and swelling,…

199.8 today ETA I'm so glad I spend time typing stuff out only to have a glitch only take one line :s

I'm sooooo close...weighed in at 200.8 this week.

I call 55lbs a HUGE accomplishment. Congrats!

I was able to fit into size 14 jeans today. I can't get over how fast the sizes change. A couple weeks ago I could barely pull the 14's over my hips. I can't wait to be completely and officially out of plus sizes! (And yet, I still don't see that much difference. I get what everyone means when they say it takes a while for…

Did the doctor tell you that lie too? Ha! I was very annoyed when it turned out not to be true for me. My body held on the the water for 3 months after my first csection. Congrats! There is nothing like that new baby love ❤️

I found a dress in storage that I haven't worn in nearly 10 years. It was perfect for an upcoming wedding except it was white(!) and didn't zip all the way. I went ahead and dyed it a dusty rose color in the hope that it would fit in time. The dye process shrunk it so I started looking around for something else. I tried it…

Tomatoes, okra, eggplant and bell peppers. So small compared to what I grew up with, but it makes me so happy to my little boy eagerly running out each day to pick the cherry tomatoes. He eats them so quickly that I have only gotten to try one this season❤️

I finally saw through all my excuses with the help of the forums here on MFP. Reading all the BS excuses and realizing that I have the same ones was very eye-opening. (Thank you to all who keep answering posted questions even though they can be redundant. It does help more people than you know!) I haven't had many health…

This just happened to me

Thanks! I feel more successful after this last month than all the pounds I lost consistently before. For me, weight loss is 75% mental and 25% nutrition ;)

I just got to my wedding weight this week. Five years and two pregnancies ago so I look very different. I know I wouldn't fit in my dress at this point!
-
I'm with you! I mostly use shredded cheese now since one ounce of it seems like so much (which makes me very happy).

I mixed Greek yogurt, PB and kashi protein cereal (with stevia) for a breakfast parfait, but your ideas sound waaaay better. Thanks!
