Maybe that just solidified my point, maybe you shouldn't have to ask???? I would hope in a solid, giving, marital relationship one would be in tune to the others needs, I mean you are living within inches of each other right? If my wife was in school and had a full time job should I not be expected to be respectful of her…

I think this is excellent. Think about it in other terms than food. If your spouse was trying to give up smoking would you leave packs of cigarettes laying around? I don't have a problem with the spouse not wanting to jump on the healthy food bandwagon, but lock it up, out of sight is out of mind for me. I think its truly…

BMR of 1479 multiplied by activity level 1.2 =1774, using 1560 as calorie limit daily deficit of 214....x 7 days that's 1498 deficit (less than .5 pound a week) up the exercise or lower the cals...... good luck! Rob

A friend of mine dropped to 160 and was very fit, looking to drop a few pounds was struggling. He was religious about hitting the gym (Same routines 5x a week) and food intake, he switched to a completely different exercise and the last 4 pounds came off. our bodies adapt, I think they need a shock sometimes.

Current height and weight?

You're 13 pounds down with 17 to go (congrats by the way) I don't know your height and weight but I assume you are getting close to BMI. Since you said rigorous exercise I am assuming 400+ calories a day usually. I would think you are possibly a hair over for larger losses, at 1560 that would appear to be a .5 pound a week…

Fitbit surge here, 4 days on a charge up. Can preview my phone messages, tracks well with my other calorie counting devices (accuracy) the hr monitor seems to be really close for me. I will eventually change to a blaze due to better bands, this one is giving me a rash if I don't switch arms daily

3x a week group fitness (body combat), weights 5x a week (pretty light) walk at work almost every workday for 30 minutes. 100 days in 41 pounds lost.......went from basically sedentary SW 299+, CW 259 Goal 205

I hope it works, I sent a friend request I will promise to be a great cheerleader for you!

Congrats on the loss so far. Reduction of calories by 100-200 a day got me rolling again after a 3 week stall. I also weighed my food more accurately (was doing too much guessing). Rob

Congrats on the start and good luck, only one point, meats are great proteins and hold me over longer than carbs and veggies. Curious why you want to cut them out during the week? Robert

Where are you at now?, I see 20 years old and female....(height, weight, goals)????

I wish I knew....I did a Les Mills body combat and came home at 7:30 fitbit said I burned 982 calories....I tried everything to not eat like a beast.......NIGHTS are the hardest.

Totally, my furry alarm clock makes sure we get up to exercise, and she is always there to finish off some of the calories I am eating. Blue heelers are the most loyal dogs I have ever seen, but be warned they can be a one person dog, (as my girl Delilah is). She was a rescue dog and I honestly would have 5 more if they…

#2 is tough for me, I actually had to schedule activities to keep me from munching. I typically go to the gym now after dinner, or a long walk with the dog. I keep a bag of carrots for these munching times......good luck wishing you the best. Robert

Keep it up Brother! I felt my first real improvements at 20 pounds down...... I started doing some new activities to keep me motivated. joined the YMCA and started some classes. I will help in any way I can. Rob

Impressive drop! Congrats

I recently went with Sauconys, I was a diehard Asics fan and needed the extra cushion. The saucony grid was the first shoe I ever slipped on and went wow, that feels amazing.

Take the time to have the bike set up properly, my instructor was really cool and showed me what to look for. Bring water and a towel, have fun!

This is wrong in many ways.... cereals depending on the type can be loaded with calories, and that's the name of the game calories. Eat a deficit, MFP will put you on the right amount. Eat when you need to 3-4 hours or not...again just watch the total. Nutrition is the type of foods you eat.

If I can do this anyone can. I wish you the best and will send a friend request (anyone is welcome to friend me), I will always applaud your success and encourage you if you fall short. It's amazing friends and family can be so cruel. I wish I could be there for the reveal when you exact the best revenge...living and…

When I walk into body combat class and 95% of the people in there are at ideal bmi I start to think about it....then the music starts and I just try to make it through.

Music that moves the soul...and Netflix..........

I joined the YMCA recently, they have the Les Mills Body combat and body pump classes. I loved it. Up to that point I had lost 35 pounds on my own at home on a recumbent bike. I like the group workouts and spin class.
