1. Log everything for a week, see what impact the foods you eat have on your calorie count. Then use wise choices for calorie count, staying under your recommendation. 2. Eat a deficit, every day 3. Monitor fluid intake, 8 (8) ounce glasses of water every day 4. Increase your exercise, even small amounts...calories in…

The squat portion of my Les Mills Body pump class. Squats I can handle, I like to do them at my own pace..not the instructor's (super fit, never seem to sweat, body that's rock hard, fitness queen on crank speed). After one bazillion lunges with a weight resting on my shoulders I feel like I am in some torture chamber of…

I hear you, I have a vegan girl and a cross fit dude in my office area, How do I know this?, because every 15 minutes they discuss how it's the "Only way" to lose. With the CICO method and 45 pounds down, I beg to differ. People ask how I am losing and I offer, they start genuinely seeming to want to lose then falter…

41 pounds in 110 days, started at 299. Feel amazing! So I am on track, but its slow going now 1-2 pounds a week. 46 years old and I am dropping the hammer 3x a week in body combat burning 1000 calories an hour. I walk everyday for 30 minutes and am doing some light weight work. Oh and I bike a little Cheers and good luck!…

I increased my exercise massively but opted to keep the TDEE calculation at sedentary ( multiplier of 1.2 over BMR) its working so I am not too concerned. As everyone I would like the drops to be quicker but mentally finally realize this is a marathon not a sprint. I think soon (another 10-15 pounds off) I will need to…

too low of calories, too restrictive........expecting huge loss every week

When my back stopped hurting (20 pounds off) and my cardio started coming back I let my self start thinking, maybe I can do this. At 30 pounds my pants were loose and I started thinking "hell yes, I really think I can do this" at 40 pounds off I started doing stuff I sat on the sidelines from for years and I say "I KNOW I…

Great Job, longer next...speed comes later

How long you been at it? How much you need to lose?

just started making these, the tip to cut after spiralizing is a good one! I dropped them in a pot of boiling water with a chicken bouillon cube, minced garlic and pepper for 2-3 min. have been experimenting with different sauces and straight up jar is not bad.

Started doing the Les mills body combat, (1 hour) it has changed my cardio for the better and improved so many other things I do in the gym and in life. big fan, great music. I do this on a video and at the YMCA, I always sweat more, higher pulse and feel more tired after the group stuff.

until I get some more weight off this frame it will be walking (then running) I average 12,000 steps a day, I used to not be able to walk from the front of a store to the back without a cart to lean on and even then my back would be screaming. I walk everyday at lunch with co workers for 1.75 miles with zero pain....LOVE…

Maybe for you, we can go all clinical and chemical but you have no clue what temptations I face around food.
