Motivation please

I started my weight loss journey a week back and no change in my weight. Have been controlling my intake will start exercise this week. Please help, any suggestions to kick start my weight loss

    You can do this, friend request sent. here is my steps to making this work.
    1. log everything you eat, that means everything!!!!!
    2. Open your diary and allow other to review and make suggestions
    3. Start some type of exercise even if it is very little, I could only recumbent bike 15 minutes 4 months ago, I am doing body pump classes now for an hour, I was wicked bad out of shape and 100 pounds overweight. But I kept plugging away 15 minutes every morning, then 20, then 30.
    4. Weigh every 3 days, takes some of the fluctuations out, in honesty I weigh everyday because it motivates be both ways.
    5. Understand this is not linear and you are going to lose X number of pounds a week, I had a three week plateau (it sucks but happens)
    6. Be kind to yourself!
