  • Keep moving forward, tomorrow is a new day. Don't short change yourself. We will have days when we mess up. Dust yourself off and keep moving towards your goal. Hope this was helpful.
  • The best advice I can give you is the rule of thumb 3500 equals a pound. You need to burn that much to loose a pound. Whatever calories you burn off, try not to eat them back if at all possible. Your goal is to loose weight. Mine calorie intake is set at 1260, I burn between six to seven hundred calories just on the…
  • Make sure you are drinking enough water. If the body is dehydrated, it can truck us into thinking we are hungry when all we need is to be hydrated. Hope this helps.
  • Absolutely, even though you have skipped your cycle with the use of medication, you will still have the bloatness and water retention as others have mentioned. Our bodies are use to something's coming regularly. When we trick our bodies in to thinking it's not time for the time of the month, harmonies will get out if wack…
  • You can lose weight without exercise but, as you loose, keep in mind skin gets saggy as we lose weight. The best advice I can give you is if you are able to exercise, please do so as you lose weight, you want to have firmer skin as you are losing.
  • With the elliptical, got one for Christmas. I started out with 20 minutes my first week this will allow you to get use to the machine. Each week build it by five or ten minutes. I also have a treadmill and bike. You may want to alternate between the 3 machines. I started out at 185 3 weeks ago and down to 166. Sounds like…
  • The best diet is the one that will be a lifestyle change for you that you can do long term.
  • If you are going to have a treat, put it in with the calories you are consuming for that day, after all it is something you are consuming into your system.
  • I have this happen very often. It as if they are constantly trying to entice you to give in to unhealthy food. I simply tell them truth, I have a goal I am trying to reach and that my health is very important to me. I appreciate and thank you for thinking about me though. I have learned once you let them know two or three…
  • I agree with individual who asked about water intake. This is a really good way to tell if you are truly hungry or dehydrated. When I began using this method, I did not realize how dehydrated I was. I seriously thought I was hungry.
  • Make sure your burning off more than what you are consuming. Something that I have done recently that is actually working is creating a calorie deficit. My weight was doing the same thing, scale not moving. When I began creating a calorie deficit. The scale began moving again.
  • I use Leslie Sansone walking you tube videos. She incorporates a total body workout. Even though they are called walking videos like I said, she targets the whole body also, it gets high impact as well. She has videos for whatever time frame you need to workout.
  • I had the same problem and actually flew off my treadmill. What I learned to do is get as far as I can towards the front of the treadmill, hold on to the bar until I get a good stride going. If I feel myself getting a little pass the midsection of the walking Belt then I pick up my stride a bit to move farther to the front.
  • Make sure the trainer you get has your best interest at heart and your getting the necessary benefits not only to give you confidence but the motivation and training you need to reach your goal.
  • Sounds like a really great tool to get some exercise in but, I would not count it as actual steps. As someone mentioned above your not getting the full core of the actual walk but great tool to get the heart going for a little calorie burn.
  • The best advice I can offer is lose the beer with supper
  • I would almost bet that after your cycle, you will start seeing results. For me, when it's that time of the month it would seem I gained five pounds but it's the water and bloating I retained. Stay positive and motivated. You will began seeing results,
  • If this is working for you and you are not getting sick or anything like that, I say continue doing what works for you. One thing I have learned is what works for one may not be the case for someone else. So, it seems that you found what works best for you. Best of luck!

  • Grab an apple which will fill you up. Drink water to test if it's really a craving or dehydration. I use to have the same problem but not anymore. Most important, stay busy
  • Burn more calories, create a calorie deficit which can be adjusted as you lose weight. Please be true to yourself and never give up.
  • Hi there, I am 5 feet 4 inches and 44 years old. I can sympathize with you. I am not getting b12 shots but have to take iron 2 times a day. I would exercise and thought I had a handle on what I was eating but did not. I went to the doctor, everything checked out ok but was diagnosed with anemia. The best advice I can share…
  • I used to not eat breakfast due to up in the morning at 5am, getting kids to their destination for school and heading off to work for 7:30am. By the time lunch came, I could eat everything in site. What I have learned to do is grab a couple of fruits apples and oranges and 30 ounces of water on my way out the door so, by…
