Feel free to add me. I'm jumping back on after a few months away. I can use all the support and motivation I can get.

I actually hate running most of the time but I've found that as I get older the only way to keep the pounds off is to run regularly. I enjoy it when I actually get out there but it's the getting out there that is the problem. I'd love more runner friends for some motivation. I'll send you a friend request. Anyway out one…

Sign me up. I can always use some motivation.

Feel free to add. I like seeing everyone's progress updates.

Great info here. Glad I found this thread!

Check out the Starting Strength program. Squats 3x/week. You can make some small but steady gains there. Just takes time.

Awesome post. Thanks for all the great info. Semper Fi Marine!

Anyone can feel free to add me. It's been great to see how everyone is going.

I like to slice them and fry them up in a little bit of olive oil on a cast iron skillet. Add some salt and pepper to taste or even some bacon. Mmmm....

Have you thought about starting a group to help with accountability? It's good to have friends on here that will see your diary but it's easy to get lost in the noise. If you started a small group with just the people on this thread you could keep much more focused. Maybe keep it limited to 10 or 12 people that are…

Great advice right here!

Friend requests are on the way! Always looking for more motivation and inspiration.

Way to be creative!

What's the triathlon distance you're training for? I've raced in sprints, Olympic and a 1/2 ironman. The Olympic is probably my favorite distance but the swim kicks my *kitten* every time. Awesome beard btw!

Do you have a specific weight or bf % you're shooting for? I'm at about 207 and 13% shooting for 195 and <10%. I've been kicking around the idea of prepping my meals in advance too since diet is what I struggle with the most.

Bingo.

Just sent you both friend requests. Anyone else feel free to add me as well.

My girlfriend and I try to do section hikes of the AT every year. This year we're hoping to get out for 3 or 4 days so we're trying to build some mileage now so it's not so painful this summer.

Just sent you a request. I'm new on here but have really enjoyed seeing other's suggestions and progress. Anyone else feel free to friend me as well.

A good friend of mine lost 20 lbs in about 6 months on our last deployment together. The only change was no alcohol or soda. He usually had 5 or 6 Pepsi's throughout the day and 2 or 3 beers at night. While deployed his activity level and food were pretty much the same.

Haha!

Not currently training for one but I completed my first 1/2 a couple years ago. One of the toughest things I've ever done. I'd love to do another one sometime. Good luck!

Great discussions here. I've been trying to understand the whole macro thing for a while now too.

Good luck. I used to juice fairly regularly but the hassle of cleaning that damn contraption is too much for me. It is pretty pleasurable to push all those fruits and veggies through the juicer though. Ha!

I sweat like crazy whenever I run or do any cardio for that matter. It's like a faucet gets turned on there's nothing I can do to stop it. And it keeps going well after I stop working out. I can literally wring by shirt out after even a short run when it's hot out.

Just started here as well. Being accountable and seeing everyone else succeed is pretty big motivation. Feel free to add me.
-
Haha! It's going to be interesting that's for sure.

Feel free to add me. It's been interesting to see what everyone's goals are and how they're going about accomplishing them. I've already learned a lot. I'm trying to lose 10 pounds down to 195 by June. After that just maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. All while eating at Chipotle as often as I can.
