been logging on every day, that is the positive...had family all together this weekend and have been off work for a few days, more positives...just put mom in dementia care home & definitely struggling past few days. Sort of glad to get back to work and have some structure back.

I know... I am trying to just say to myself "I am still me" doesn't matter if I am size 6 or 16 that doesn't change who i am and not let my weight define me. Very hard not to fat shame myself! BUT definitely feel a sense of shame around it...trying to get over it and just do things that are going to make positive changes.

I find weekends really hard and was finding nights hard too. Someone suggested that I was not eating enough during the day therefore coming home and losing control. Also I now bump my calories up on the weekend and track every cocktail, every meal out and make sure I use all my calories so I’m under control but still…

Despite having a cold (which usually I would turn to comfort foods) I feel focused. Pants feeling a little more breathable. Amazing what just a few pounds can do physically & mentally! Have great, successful day everyone.
