Same habit here - fine till 11pm then eating as though for a seige. I should just go to bed but the munchies coincide with a last surge of awake feelings - and a feeling of deprivation - must be hormonal, it seems very common.
-

Hello I have been away for a while, the wheels fell off my truck as it were and I gave up on my healthy lifestyle in favour of crazy overwork. So , deep breath, slow down, recover!, regroup! Friday goals: 15 min elliptical Stick with plan Paperwork ( done!) Some me time doing my painting Happy Friday to all x! Wishing you…

@mtzrose2001 I know exactly how you feel and I am in the same situation, put back much of what I lost last year . I don't know your life situation but I know why my wheels fell off: I am a woman with 3 jobs. I let it all come back at a time of stressful work and an unmanageable workload. I hit peak binge last night and…

May 21 did about 12 miles but ended on a steep hill and had to walk up it. When I was cycling a lot in 2016/7 I could get up it in one! So it would be nice to get back to that ability. Had a great time though, really noticing the bird life which likes to fly ahead of the bike sometimes, huge black crows

Goal: get back on that bike and get used to the very hilly hills in my area again. I've missed cycling, during a peroid of working shifts and being abroad. So today may 20, I got out and about, did some shopping by bike, it felt good! 6.5 miles or so, but I hate stats and counting. Inspiring to see everyone else here out…

Feel free to add me too. I like your screen name: it reminds me of something I heard from a psychologist. "What you bury in the basement, has a tendency to come up on the front lawn". 3 stone is about what I would like to lose.

I did exactly the same as you, and it happens quite often. When surrounded by happily chomping family I tend to cave in, especially if there's a bit of alcohol involved. The Spartanness of not joining in just seems, in the moment, too harsh. I have been better in the past with this, for example packing things I know I can…

July 2 - 3 city miles July 5 - 11 country miles I'm riding a second hand mountain bike mainly on potholed country roads. I hate not having a destination so I try to build one into each outing, even if it's only a market to replenish my supply of bike snacks. This month I have some better destinations though - an…

To do 8 days straight of Under. A small goal but I’m going to try. Been very erratic lately, due to stress.
-
Back on the bike after a bit of a break due to travel. This season I want to concentrate on hills. They are plentiful where I live and where I want to live in future. I reckon if I get good at them then I can do bike tours in dramatic scenery one day. It’s a big of a dream.

Been away travelling for work but I had my guitar with me! Got a fair bit of practice in hotel rooms, then made it out to the local guitar shops and nearly but not quite succumbed to temptation! Seem to have come back home filled with enthusiasm so yes, a bit every day.....nice playing @Egger29!
-
Also indoors for now, although I recently had my first city bike ride abroad in Belgium, in the beautiful city of Ghent where cyclists are treated very well indeed! The bike was different from my usual Giant mountainbike, it was a Dutch bike very well sprung and upright, heavy and yet it felt like floating along on a…

Just did my accordion 25. Learning the waltz from The Long Day by Tariverdiev, quite a haunting tune
-
Since signing up I’ve played accordion every day! Now off for guitar practice
-
Burn 400 at least in exercise every day till I go travelling on march 25!
-
Ok I’m in! I intend to replace late night snacking with late night guitar lesson from Jamplay. I play accordion too but that could get me evicted...
-
Bond with my bikes again - the indoor one is easy to bond with but the outdoor one is a bit nervous of UK January weather! I know, I'm a bit of a wuss. Just got to get on with it.
-
Get back into cycling, indoors or out no matter, this December! I have slacked off and I miss it!
