Hi Rebecca welcome and good luck. I have eaten really bad in the past and lost weight in the past (put it back on) now losing again. Trying to eat much better now, lose weight and avoiding processed food where possible. Keep strong, there is always support on here.

I have yo yo dieted for a few years and have got into bad eating habits too. Lots of people on here have used food as a reward to themselves. You can do this, we can all do this! Stay strong and vent on here as you need. Feel free to add me.

I have read the book and the science behind it does seem well evidenced. The diet is intended for 8 weeks max to turn around pre-diabetics or recent diabetics and after the period of restricted calories you should then go on to the 5:2 diet plan.
