I agree with the above. Strong lifts 5x5 is also a good starting point. It's a full body workout 3x a week alternating between 2 workouts. The app is free for iPhone and Android.

No supplements are going to help suppress your appetite and boost your metabolism. It's diet and exercise. Foods that are higher in fats and protein may help to curb your appetite more. Really nail down your tracking and give it sometime.

I work as an admission nurse for a subacute rehab facility. If it's a heavy admissions day I usually forget to eat lunch because I'm too busy running around.

Is the pain a sharp sudden pain or a dull achy pain? Do you feel it while you are performing the exercise or after? I would either take a video of yourself doing the workout so you can see your form or schedule a session with a trainer at your gym.

I've had their unsweetened tea before and I agree, it's pretty good. I was pretty surprised by that. I usually have a nalgene of water with me so i tend to stick with water.

They have the Mac juniors now too. If I'm craving a big Mac I'll opt for the Mac junior. Usually when I go out I'll order a kids meal or I tend to just get the sandwich and skip the drink and fries. I find the combo meals tend to be a calorie trap for me.

I don't think there are bumper plates, but I also haven't really looked around for them. I'll ask one of the staff when I'm in tomorrow morning.

Thank you @JoRocka , @singingflutelady and @TresaAswegan. I will look around my gym to see if they have some mini risers or I can build up with some plates to get the bar a little higher (at least to where a 45lbs plate will sit), but not high enough for a rack pull.

I don't deadlift again until Friday but I will try sliding some plates underneath to raise the bar up a little. I honestly feel kind of dumb if that's the issue. I don't remember having this issue the last time I did SL.
