Glad to have run across this thread.... Curious to know what you ladies are lifting... amounts/reps etc. I just started in January and feel I'm seeing a difference finally :)

I have pcos and didn't worry too much with carbs. I cut back and started eating healthier meals instead of a lot of fast foods and greasy foods. I cut back on sugar and started exercising like crazy and it seems to be slowly but surely coming off. I didn't know about the carb concern with pcos. I'll have to read up on that.

Joining a little late so I'll start with 6/3 -- Hoping to lose 15lbs over summer. 06/03/19: 0 06/10/19: (school ends) 06/17/19: 06/24/19: 07/01/19: 07/08/19: 07/15/19: 07/22/19: 07/29/19: 08/05/19: 08/12/19: School starts.......... 8/26 for us :)

I have lost 58lbs in the past year and 4 months. You're welcome to add me. There have definitely been ups downs and setbacks. It is real lifestyle change. I still have 40 more pounds to lose to reach my goal.

I have a 4lb yorkie and she uses a pee-pad in the basement. I have left her at home over 12 hours before alone but she has run of the house, I leave the tv on, she can see out the sunroom windows to watch the horses, and I talk to her on our cameras sometimes :smiley: :lol: I think if they're not used to being crated that…

It depends on the day... I workout 6 days a week. A quick leg day may take me about 45 minutes. Usually my days with a trainer (or doing the routine he has me on) take me about 1 to 1.5 hours. If it's a day I don't have much time or just an 'off day' I may just do cardio for about 30 minutes hardcore non stop.

When I do a protein shake, I always drink it after my workout. I try to eat foods that have enough protein instead of using the shake though. I was eating protein bars and having my shakes and I think I actually gained weight from that. Not sure if you're a guy/girl.... but I think the amount of protein you take should be…

I'm not a naturally pale skin person but I do tan indoors some in the spring. I would recommend starting very low minutes. If you go to a place that has low level beds (20 minutes beds) then I'd start with 5-6 minutes maybe few times a week. Second week go up to 10-12 minutes. I know it seems slow but it's not as hard on…
