I most likely did workout hard the day before... but I go in the evenings M-F so it would have been about 20 hours since my last workout when I did bloodwork both times. I'll take the day off before my next scheduled appt for bloodwork.

I just came across this thread... and I am interested in joining in on this conversation group :) I started at 298 in 2018. I started cutting back, not so much dieting, but watching what I was eating. I added in walking and jogging. 6 months later (Jan 2019) I started the gym. I have been going consistently for a year 5-6…

I've always heard it's best to drink it within 30 minutes after your workout to get the full effects of it (what ever that full effect may be ? lol) So if I drink protein or eat, it's right after my workout.
