  • I'm interested in it, but don't think I will go back and play it. WoW was my first MMO. I played in vanilla. Disc priest always! Played hardcore until a little while after lich king....then on and off a bit for each expansion until pandaria...then I called it 100% quits. (oh...and Alliance!!)
  • I'm playing FF14 right now and for the last year. Can't wait for expansion!
  • I just had my 1 month BodPod / follow up. I was feeling kinda bad because I had gained 6 lbs this last month, but that 6 lbs was ALL muscle!! This last month I also felt better, better mood, slept better, and had more energy! And this...from eating 2500 calories a day....now he wants me to increase food to 2900 calories a…
  • I hear you. I've been trying to lose weight for 10 years now. I am currently up to 263ish. Every doctor in the past would say things like, "Well you don't look that bad", "Just eat less and workout more", etc. Even when I told them I was eating 1000 or less a day, had a very busy and active lifestyle, and was workout out…
  • The idea to eat more to lose weight is very new to me. I just started with a new trainer guy and he had me to a BodPod. He said that I need to eat 2500 calories a day and that is only marking me as lightly active. He wants me to keep cardio to only brisk walking and focus on strength training 3x a week. I was really just…
  • I also have over 100 pounds to lose. Anyone else on this site please feel free to add me as well.
  • 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water a day equals 64 ounces. I have a big super insulated cup that is 64 ounces. I fill it up in the morning and make sure that I drink it all each day. Something to remember though...you get liquids from more than JUST water. Food, vegetables, fruits, coffee, etc. And there is such a thing as TOO…
  • I have a hard time asking people for help when I want it (and even when I need it). Then later feel angry/hurt/disappointed when no one helped me or offered to help me. (Example: I'm working on painting the trim and doors in a house we recently moved into....my husband, brother, and 2 children just walk around / over me…
  • I have a fitbit HR and the Aria weight scale as well. Everyone here feel free to add me!
  • I think a very important thing is to be as accurate as possible and HONEST about tracking and logging your food intake and your exercise. I've found out that I was underestimating my daily calorie burn before I got my fitbit watch. And I was not very accurate about my portion sizes on my food...I know now because I got a…
  • Kudos for still doing that much walking in heels.....I can't stand 10 minutes in heels let alone constant walking for 45 minutes on top of wearing them all day! Definitely should plan more ahead. Perhaps buy a pair of tennis shoes to keep in your car all the time?
  • I've never had any experience where eating any particular or specific type of food in the evenings have had any impact on my sleep. I know if I eat TOO close to bedtime...say within an hour or so of laying down...I tend to have some abdominal comfort problems for a little while. I do notice as well that mornings when I…
  • I've had my Fitbit HR and the Aria weight scale for about 8 months. I really love both items. Weight and body fat percent is automatically sent to my computer so I don't have to log it in manually. (yes, body fat percent isn't super accurate, but it is accurate enough to detect changes over time) I also wear my watch all…
  • Feel free to add me...anyone really. I have over 100 lbs to lose myself. And this time I have a medical reason (extra motivation) to get it done.
  • NOPE!!! Believe me...over the last 10 years of trying to lose weight...I've tried just about every diet pill and fad diet out there. None of them did anything positive. Had lots of negative side effects though... This time I am being detailed in my tracking, looking for a lifestyle change...not just a diet.
  • I have the charge HR watch and the aria scale. Had them for about 7 months now. I really like them both. You just have to make sure to wipe the watch down regularly so sweat and such doesn't build up. I also like it to track my sleep and movements at night since I have sleep apnea.
  • It can be surprising what all is in things. Usually, I will plan out my meals for the day...starting with dinner...then lunch...then snacks. I make sure I get all my things in the green. And I stick as close to it as I can. If I make or think about making any changes I log it first to see how it changes everything.
  • I think a cheat meal is best. A cheat meal can easily be made up for....healthier meals and snacks for the day...some more exercise, etc. BUT be careful, a cheat meal can very easily turn into a cheat day. I go for cheat meals...because I tend to go way overboard if I give myself a WHOLE day to cheat! Either way, never…
  • I've noticed a few people seem different. When talking with people who also have medical issues or are also pretty heavy and have a lot to lose, or even those who had a lot to lose and well on their way to goal seem to be a lot more supportive and motivating. While others who are only looking to lose 20 lbs...or get toned,…

  • Sometimes what I drink requires soda...to help with calories and sugar...I've switched to use a diet soda. I've also switched to a lower carb / calorie beer. And I'm think of doing more straight liquor rather than the mixed drinks, but I don't know if I can stand it. I too, do not drink very often. 1-3 times a month. SO, I…

  • Yes, what you are doing right now will result is weight loss. BUT....it is not healthy and will not help you in the long run. You should be eating more in general on calories a day. Even more if you are working out regularly. And the type of calories IS important. Sometimes it isn't just how much you eat, but what you are…
  • 5'6" Current weight - 259 Weight range fluctuation - 257-264 Goal weight - 130-140
  • I've had this happen to me many times. I seem to always realize when I am the biggest person in the room / area. Then I start becoming paranoid and conscience about it. Then it sometimes effects my confidence as well, I stay quiet, etc. because I don't want people looking at me...and realize too I am the biggest in the…
  • My nutritionist for my diabetes prevention program actually told me to start eating 1800 calories instead of my 1300-1400 calorie a day average. This does not seem like a good idea to do this so quickly....and where are you planning to stop?
  • I had a friend who was very close to my weight, height, and build. However, there were many articles of clothing that would only fit me, and not her, and vise versa. Or fit one of us much better than the other. Not only does it depend on the country, the brand, the style, fit, etc. It also depends on how you hold what…
  • I think it really depends on HOW hungry you are. If you are sooo hungry your tummy is growling at you it will definitely have a negative effect on your sleep and your mood the next day. But, if your just "I could eat, but I could wait" kinda hungry then that is fine. I often will have a cup or 2 of decaf hot tea in the…
  • I have over 100 lbs total to lose myself. Feel free to add me!
  • Go ahead and add me. My diary is open as well. I log everything I eat and drink.
