  • I stay within 25 g of sugar a day. I substitute fruit for flavored yogurt once a day.
  • It is suggested that you do not eat 3 hours before bedtime. There is no study linking eating before bedtime and gain weight on humans, only on mice.
  • My recommendation is to keep a journal of the foods you eat. Bar code scanning is convenient. You must keep track of carbohydrates and sugars since you are a vegetarian. I am on day 20 as well and have lost 6 pounds. This is normal and healthy.
  • Thank you for all that responded. I took 30 mg the first day and the hunger came back. I decided to discontinued the prednisone and see if my symptoms got any worse which they did not. Sometimes doctors are quick to prescribe medicine. I am fully recovered now from my illness with out prednisone.
