5'8" female runner who was 133 pre-preggo weight with a 30" waist, flat stomach, and visible abs. Your ribs and hip shape/size are going to play into your waist size too. I have a very large rib cage and my lower ribs are definitely in play when measuring my waist in the appropriate place. Nothing you can do about that, so…

This is exactly where I find my instapot (and most other) recipes.

When I lost 70lbs a couple of years ago, soda was the first thing to go and I feel like it really made a difference. Granted, I was drinking an average of six twelve ounce MTN Dews a day, so it was a significant calorie cut. As I got into a routine of eating less calories, I would allow for soda only when I went out to eat…

How are your eating windows adjusted around your workouts? Maybe try opening your eating window right after a workout so that you're replenishing fuel fairly quickly. You say you have at least 25lbs left to lose, but do you have the fat stores to fuel a workout amid a 48 hour fast? Personally, I was not able to sustain the…

Bagels every day over donuts.

I absolutely LOVE my adjustable weight set. 100lbs of weights in two dumbbells that take up less room than a car tire. Dick's Sporting Goods sometimes has a great deal on them. Also, a rowing machine is compact and a great cardio workout.

I count macros because as a former weightlifter and current marathon runner it's important to me to have adequate amounts of protein and carbohydrates to fuel my workouts. I did intermittent fasting for many years... OMAD was my favorite form. But I modified that as I ran more because not fueling during a 30 mile run just…

Love it! It reminds me of a Muhammed Ali quote "I only start counting when it starts hurting".

Your mindset is your worst enemy here, as I see it. Nothing is "bad" food ...unless it's poisoned or rotting or you're allergic to it. All food is fine in moderation. Try planning your meals for the next week, all things you like within MFP calorie recommendations...leave room for your favorite treat, but only purchase the…

No one at the gym is paying any attention unless you intentionally attract attention to yourself. Everyone is in their own little world. Choose an exercise or machine you're familiar with and start with that. As you continue to go, you'll build up the habit and become more confident.

Definitely in the leftovers camp. I intentionally make two extra servings of every dinner so hubby and I have food for the next day at work.

Whatever you want! Some days are meant to have the calorie counter turned off and your birthday is one of them! I'd definitely go for an Outback Blooming Onion, Baked Potato, Steak, and chocolate cake (no icing) with vanilla bean ice cream. And a breakfast of biscuits and gravy.

I always knew I wanted to run a marathon...so I signed up for my first one for my 30th birthday and ran it last year. My new long term goal is Boston for my 40th. Super short term, it'll be my third marathon six months after giving birth. Moderate term goal is every marathon in my home state of NC before I turn 40. I've…

Mindful running...it's amazing how much I learned about my body and my psyche when I started practicing it.

When I was actively trying to lose weight, I replaced the coffee with a glass of water and a caffeine pills in the morning. It's actually cheaper and it accomplished the same caffeine goal as my well creamed and flavored coffee and MTN Fees did.

The finisher medals at the end of my races are my rewards.

I run....long distances...without headphones, just me & my thoughts.

I would say it can be more nutritionally balanced than some other options for sure...but if I'm eating out, I'm not really concerned about the health benefits of my food. A fully loaded bowl, add chips, is a great carb loading meal.

I have no interest in making friends at the gym...resolutioners or regulars. I go to workout and then go home. I seek my friends out in running groups that have beer afterwards and are designed for socializing around a common interest.

Chia seeds plus chocolate almond milk refrigerated for 24 hours makes a great pudding of sorts.

When I did it, I worked my way into OMAD. I started with 16/8 (skipping breakfast), then stretched to 20/4 (snack for lunch plus dinner), then to just dinner.

When I was actively trying to lose weight, one of the first things I did was cut out unnecessary calories...which for me were sodas, alcohol, and snacks. As a runner and weight lifter, it was most important to me to hit my macros within my calorie limit. I think it's personal preference though...If you would rather eat 200…

I signed up for a marathon and (surprise!) got preggers before the run...so I ran my second marathon 14 weeks pregnant.

Homemade chili and cornbread (if my cornbread turns out, lol).
