Perfect timing, as I'm enjoying a piping hot bowl of oatmeal made with almond milk, cinnamon, 1tbps of maple syrup, 1tbsp of unsweetened almond butter, some thawed frozen peach slices and a splash of vanilla extract.

I would avoid exposing others, but maybe do a Yoga practice at home until you're on the mend. I love Yoga with Adriene on YouTube.

I'm eating about 100 calories less my usual this week, exercising, and will go over on Thanksgiving, but will track as best I can.

Yes, I did. It was worth it. I did keto for 3 months, came off of it and have continued to lose weight.
-
Thank you for saying this.

I work a job where I'm at my desk a bit, but I'm in a warehouse pulling orders in the morning. And, when shipments come in, I'm not at my desk at all and will usually log 14,000 steps that day easily. I walk 6 days a week and strength train 3 days a week. I set my activity level at lightly active, my goal weekly weight…

Please do not listen to any armchair physicians trying to drag you down in these comments. What you experienced is normal. I injured my right quad performing a Bulgarian split squat a few years ago. It sidelined me for about 3 months, and not just on leg day. It affected every exercise. Admitting I needed to rest was…

Try not to look at it as a bad day. Look at it as a day of eating at a caloric surplus instead. Yesterday, I went over by several hundred calories. I mindlessly ate, tracked what I could recall, and faced the music when I weighed in this morning. I was up 3lbs. Did I eat nearly 11,000 calories above my TDEE? Nowhere close,…

Psyllium caused me to have water retention and diarrhea in the same day. Go figure.

I like to think of it as a lifelong journey with peaks and valleys, so I'm never truly starting over. With that said, at my lowest weight I was 149.8lbs. Over the course of a year and a half I crept up to 178lbs. That's when I decided to buckle down and get this weight back off. I'm now down to 164.2lbs.

Spices don't boost metabolism, but they can be used in place of butter or oils to add flavor. My personal favorite is cajun seasoning. Tastes great on poultry, fish, veggies, and eggs.

I would. If I'm doing vigorous yard work, I log it.

I love it. I've now progressed to a 20/4 window and it works the best for me (I am inclined to night binge when I consume most of my calories during the day).

I gained 8lbs my first cycle with Nuvaring. The contraceptive doesn't cause weight gain, but I found I was more hungry, and if I didn't graze I would be overcome with horrible nausea.

38 and lift. Please feel free to add me :)

Hey, we must be neighbors. That's my favorite pizza place :) I'd try a chain cheesy breadsticks entry. Maybe Jet's?

I like the vanilla Orgain. It's not too chalky or clumpy. I'm also a fan of the chocolate VeganSmart, but it is a bit harder to find.

I eat back some. I have my activity set to light, because my daily work tasks vary from day to day. I may be sitting at a desk or I may be running all over a warehouse pulling heavy boxes from racks. My FitBit has a HRM, so it bases my calorie burn on my heart rate. For example, today it said I got in 11,020 steps and…

I don't really consider it a cheat meal. I track it and if I go over my calorie limit, so be it.

Honestly, I'm not as strict with low calorie veggies. If I forget to log a cup of iceberg lettuce or a tablespoon of diced onion, I'm not going to sweat it. I do carefully log all fruits and starchy veggies, though. Corn, carrots, peas, potatoes, etc.

1,000 calories a day is simply not sustainable longterm. I'm also concerned you lost 10lbs in one week being as small as you are already.
-
The only ones I like were strawberry and orange, and I wasn't a fan of the texture.
-
I usually eat back 100-400 calories that my Fitbit Alta HR says I burn above and beyond my BMR. Mine is based on steps + heart rate.
-
I don't weigh veggies (except for corn and potatoes), but I do weigh foods that are deceptively calorie dense, like oatmeal, and obvious culprits like peanut butter and cheese. It is really eye opening.
-
I do keto, because I'm a person who finds fat more satiating than carbs. I eat OMAD (dinner) and a midday snack. It isn't magic, it's simply a way of eating that allows me to feel satiated and eat a calorie deficit.
-
I'm thinking her physician may follow Dr. Berg's approach, which recommends 7-10 cups of veggies per day, so long as they are keto friendly (obviously no potatoes, corn, etc)
-
I use another app in conjunction with MFP to track net carbs.

That's how I am at the gym. It only took one time catching a creeper filming me doing squats on his phone and rubbing his junk through his shorts (I reported it immediately, and was told the guy was "socially awkward, but had been going there for years without incident". After that I started going at a different time and…

Just got my multi pack of Built Bars. They threw in their new strawberry chocolate flavor. OMG it tastes like a Russell Stover candy.
