Small goals are the way to go! You can do it with the no soda! I feel you! About 3 years ago I was 30lbs away from my ultimate goal weight/healthy weight for my height! Now I am 90lbs away from that :( feel free to add me. I definitely need encouraging with losing my 90lbs!

My mom & quite a bit of my family/friends have diabetes. I am pre diabetic if I don't change my lifestyle. With exercise & eating right, it will definitely help with managing your diabetes. Best of luck!
