I'm an emotional eater, too. When I get stressed or upset, I binge horribly. I haven't found a way to overcome it yet but I just started a diary in a notebook to see if it helps. I'm going to try writing in it nightly.

I can't eat in the morning. It makes me feel sick. So I have a chocolate slim fast shake to tide me over until my first break at work. It's light enough and fills me up. I wouldn't use it to replace lunch or dinner, though. I fill the rest of my day up with real food.

I've been paying for a gym membership for two years and haven't used it once. Every time I try to go, I get the worst anxiety to the point my heart races and I feel sick. So I never go, even though I want to. I just can't.

Also, thanks for your help so far everyone. I feel like I'm finally getting on the right track and I'm realizing that I've been pushing myself too hard and trying to get results too fast. It's true that I need to take it slow and find something sustainable. Thanks for helping me realize :)

It took a month for me to lose the 25. I figured it was mostly water weight. Things have really slowed down now but I'm not worried about that as long as it's still coming off. So I should change my activity level? I work 32 hours a week, standing 8 hours but on my days off I really don't do anything. That's why I left it…

I've changed my diary to 1.5 lbs per week and 1460 calories. It already looks a lot easier, lol. I think I'll have much better luck with this.

I don't feel pushed. You're definitely right. My issue with veggies is texture and taste. I've posted here before and a few people mentioned I might be a supertaster. I only like veggies soft and mushy (which is why salads are out unfortunately) and I have to eat them disguised because I find them so bitter, whether…

I've changed my diary to 1.5lbs per week and I will give it a try at the 1460 calories and see how I fare. I don't want to give up on this and I want to keep making progress.

I live on ground chicken and turkey. I make little chicken parm meatloaf muffins in a muffin tin, top with a little bit of sauce and a sprinkle of cheese. Two packs gets me 20 little muffins and they're just delicious.

Same issue here. On the web the recipes aren't there because I've deleted them. On my phone app, every single recipe I've ever inputted is there and I get an error when I try to delete them. It's driving me crazy because there's so many on there.

I munch on a serving of pretzel goldfish or have some strawberry Activia. It's so yummy it's like a treat to me. I'd take it over strawberry ice cream any day lol

Thank you. I'm just reluctant to do that because I'm also in a biggest loser competition at work... but more than that, my brother died from his health complications with obesity (heart attack). I'm in the same boat and I really need to keep on this to get healthy. I don't want to go, too :(

My favourite has strawberries, a banana, some pineapple juice and an avocado. The avocado makes it so creamy and delicious.

This might be a REALLY stupid question but would looking at the USDA entries work since I'm in Canada? Would it be the same? Also, how do you do that? Do you just type in 'USDA' first?
