  • Thanks for the advice guess I didn't realise understand what maintenance really meant, as long as I'm not putting weight on I'm happy. I dramatically changed my eating habits to lose weight but I want to go back to eating things like pasties and ice cream just I won't be eating them too often
  • I'm sorry but I'm not logging calories for the rest of my life. I didn't need to do it before and I haven't had to do it for a month and I've still lost weight. You can't live life counting calories. I don't plan my meals in advance I can't so I'd have to log on after every meal and that was stressing me out. Guess I'm…
  • That's what I've been doing except I'm having 1,400 calories a day. I think that's -500. Bmi calculator says I should eat 1,500 so I'm wondering if I eat more will I still lose weight
  • I wonder about sugar. If I have a banana it will tell me I've gone over my sugar when I've had one cup of tea with one sugar (I used to have two so this is good for me), and I think it's healhy sugar. I guess it doesn't matter it's still sugar
  • I used to use the videos on old episodes on YogaZone on youtube, it's the only place to watch them in the UK as dvds are region 1. I also like Adrienne yoga on youtube. I'm trying to incorporate yoga into my exercise as I love it, it makes me feel so chilled, helps my stress/anxiety levels. And it does work your body too I…
  • Fitness blender on youtube do low impact not sure if this would help as low impact for them might mean just slower and no jumping
  • You mentioned 10 hour work shift. It made me wonder about how much sleep you are getting. When I work long shifts it takes me awhile to unwind and my sleep is less sound. That affects my weight loss. Just a thought.[/quote] I probably haven't been getting enough sleep, and I stayed up late to watch The Eurovision Song…
  • Honestly, I have to check my height as I've forgotten it! And I never was sure how much I wanted to lose. I wanted to lose the weight I'd put on recently but I wasn't sure how much that was as only recently (since starting calorie counting) did I own a scales. Like most people I want to have a smaller mid section and it is…
  • Yeah, 1,400 a day. I was rushing to type as usual as i was on my way to work
  • Didn't think it was boring, it can't be intense all the time. We have the truth about Lyanna happening-tense and Rickon has been captured. I agree about the High Sparrow though, his scene was boring. But only because I hate it when people go on and on about religion (I've watched a terrible film recently and they were too…
  • I love the couple on fitness blender. I don't mind Cassie who does blogilates
  • That's me, getting annoyed over nothing. I didn't think of that I'm sure someone would've corrected me
  • I hate that the energy flags, I get it a few days before and horrible headaches. I just do yoga or pilates so I'm still moving but maybe not so intense. Exercise can give you energy too :)
  • I'm not going to count calories or diet on holiday I'm hoping I don't put weight on or much as I do tons of walking. But if I do I'll burn it off when I get home hopefully
  • According to the UK NHS you need to eat about 500 calories less a day to see a weight loss. People will say 1,200 and I started on that but struggled. I'm now eating 1,400 a week and losing about 2 pounds or so a week. Doing about 3 days of exercise. It does depend on your exercise as I do HIT workouts which are intense. I…
  • I checked my BMI first and using that I then modified the calories on here, they were telling me to have 1,200 but my BMI calculator said 1,500 plus (I think). My goal is 1,400 and I weigh my food and work the calories out
  • I love sweet potatoes I have a recipe for sweet potato cakes but I haven't made them yet
  • Exactly! There are too many people and brands making claims for weight loss that sounds so good. Even on regular products not related to weight loss and it's annoying because they are usually lying. In the case of weight loss unless it's backed by actual science and doctors I don't believe it. Good to see that everyone is…
  • If your body is the correct weight range then why do you want to lose weight? Won't you end up under weight? I was overweight and I've been eating about 500 calories less losing 2 pound a week. I supsse you could easily lose the 5-6 pounds in a month Just make sure it' healthy for you to do so
  • How do you add people on here? I've been on here a few weeks and I have only one friend and I have no clue how to add.
  • Detox is not real. Your body naturally does this so there is no need to detox it's just another fad
  • Wraps?
  • Circuit training

  • Maybe you put too much pressure on yourself. I do this. I'm a worrier and stressed easily. I overthink things and get mentally fatigued. I now do mindfulness and after sticking to it and when I do it often it does help. Looking at the way you think can make a difference if you're like me
  • Thanks! I did used to like Tae Bo by Billy Banks (or is it Blanks?) but it was on a video tape (yeah, I still have a video tape player, just not many videos now) so it doesn't work anymore. I did try on online once but I needed resistance bands. I could follow Tae Bo -mostly. I do like how much kickboxing works your body…
  • Sweet potato?
  • I can't follow the moves. I love how much of a workout I get when I can though but I can't follow when you have to do so many different punches or hooks at once I have the same problem with zumba
  • I know that one side of the body is weaker than the other. Does that explain why one seems to be more toned? I've still got a way to go. Is there a way to even it out or is it just because of it being weaker? Sorry if it's a stupid question
  • A few pages back they said that they had stopped taking more members! I responded to late to the post the same day. Shame I don't know anybody who is losing weight
  • That is a shame, I'm always recommending my favourite videos, be it fitness blender or blogilates. Or Adrienne or yoga zone
