@MermaidPrincessRach that is terribly scary! I hope the doctor can make her well quickly. Success Saturday: I was mindful of my food choices this week. That doesn't mean I always made the best choices, but they were considered.

@grandmakaye44 your granddaughter sounds very sweet. She's doing a good job helping! Friday Fitness: I will go for a run and complete 3.1 miles today!

Thursday truth: for the last couple of weeks, I have had no motivation to do much of anything when I'm not working. The kids' homeschooling is stalled, the house is a wreck, and I just want to sleep. Today, I'm going to make a point to go for a run and at least get the basics done for school.

Hi! I'm new to this board but I thought I'd jump in. I'm back on the wagon after getting discouraged with my running program (really, the heat) and took a few months away from everything. During that time, I maintained, so that's a plus!! My Wednesday wish is that my seatbelt will fit without an extender when I have to fly…

Joining in. Just for today I will: 1. Drink my water. 2. Run/walk 3.1 miles with less walking and more running 3. Stay within my calorie goal 4. Put away my laundry

I weigh daily to keep me focused on counting my calories. But, I only log once a week and only if there's a loss or significant gain.

I'm definitely not going to make it. I've lost 5 pounds in the last 6 weeks. As I get older, it just doesn't fall off as quickly anymore. But, my clothes are fitting more nicer, I have energy, and I am still working through the c25k.

I would like to join this.

Wow! Fantastic job!

I'm on week 3 day 3 today and am looking forward to my workout. I have tried a couple of YouTube workouts for yoga and Zumba but nothing else has kept my interest. I need to start doing something on my non-running days, though. How about you?

Very good job. Your progress is so inspiring. I'm just getting started and looking for accountability buddies. Sending you a friend request if you don't mind.

Hi. I'm right there with you. 264 and 33. I've been a yoyo dieter for most of my adult life. I'm actually 60-some pounds heavier than I was when I started working 3 years ago. I have a husband and two kids and a houseful of pets (dog, cat, bird, chickens). I have started the c25k program to try to give myself a fitness…

I looked into it extensively since, like you, I have a friend begging me to try it. I found that the supplements are so full of fluff and artificial sweeteners that, for me, would be no benefit whatsoever. I would be willing to try a wrap to make myself feel better about wearing a particular outfit for a big night or…

Congrats for getting back into one-derland!!!!

A friend of mine used something similar to target the lower part of his tummy and butt. He wore it while working out only and maintained a good diet. Essentially, it helped to shrink that area, which is what he desired. However, if you are not changing your diet and fitness routine, any loss will pop back once you stop…

I'm a 5'5" homeschooling mom of two. My youngest is 7 and I just kept piling on on top of the baby weight. I joined MFP a week ago and have been doing c25k, but I like the idea of doing Zumba on my rest days.

SW: 267 CW: 265.4 GW: 222 Challenge loss: 1.6 43.4 to go I'm a little disappointed in myself this week, but admittedly I have gone overboard on sodium, having Chinese one night and deviled ham twice this week. I usually can pull a 2-5 pound loss on the first week of any refreshed diet. However, I have completed 2 walks, 3…

My fitness goals are: 1. Complete C25K. I've started many times. This time, I want to do the full program. I'm on week1 day2 right now, as I had to work up to even jogging. 2. Complete the Glow Run 5k on August 5. It might be hot and I might be crazy, lol. 3. Start lifting weights again. I don't belong to a gym, so this is…

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I have not had a bike, but I saw this hover -board like thing that hangs under your desk and encourages movement. I'm thinking about getting one of those. It is on indiegogo right now, so there aren't really any reviews. I did also decide to start c25k this week. I just finished day 2…
