Thanks Vonny, Not sure I'm confident enough to pretend to be the instructor but might try doing that when doing it at home :-) Jelly, actually thinking of going to the gym for half hour before class this week.

Fab loss and inspiring post.

Hi, in UK, currently lost 21lb and 3" from my oversized waist in three months. Aiming for around 5/6 stone.
-
Littlechipin, Zumba does sound fun :-)
-
Thanks Firefly. Think I best try zumba and clubbercise first then. With my weight and dodgy knee don't think I would be able to do a burpees and squats (was hoping more jogging/boxing :-( ) Off to look at what other classes there are.

Thanks. I do like the sound of boxercise :-)

Another fab and motiviational sucess story. Thanks for sharing.

Charlotte, thank you for such an inspiring post. My journey to where I am now is similiar to yours in that I've been with OH for years and put a few stones on with one two many cosy nights in/nights out with too many drinks and then greasy food. DD came along six years ago and more cosy nights in with pringles etc. Being…

TmacMMM if myself and Runrutheerun are talking about the same thing these are what I mean. https://groceries.asda.com/product/cocktail-sausages-scotch-eggs/asda-sharing-18-savoury-egg-bites/910002409442 I've just opted for wraps, never had lots of bread but find wraps nicer. I love pasta but unfortunately love it too much.…

Oh I love mini scotch eggs. Think some of them will be in the basket later :-)

Hi, thanks, wraps are what I have for lunch so might do one for me, one and half for OH and half for DD. Very guilty previously of buying the picnic type packs in supermarkets of caramel slices etc and eating more than a couple so will maybe still purchase these but only take what we all should really be eating!

Sorry missed your explanation above. Thanks

Thanks @RunRutheeRun. Should it not do this? I assume my 1450 calculates I will do some walking per day? A friend is lightly active or the next category and theirs gives adjustments of roughly 1000 calories per day because their job involves lots of walking and they were saying that they can eat 2800 a day to loose weight…

Yes on Android. I must have clicked something but now wonder why it's giving me extra calories especially for the day of walking round shops!
-
I'm too embarrassed to tell him! Based on that he is 6ft1 and only 12 stone he probably thinks I'm similar to him and just look bigger because I'm short :-) When we met years ago I was around 10/11 stone then so I'm happy he doesn't really notice how much I've put on but then that's probably why I have been a bit too…

Hi, looking to lose 80lb in total. Set to 1.5lb a week. Hoping it's just an off day and back to feeling well tomorrow.
-
Hi all and thanks for all the comments/advise. It was referenced above that 2000 steps is about a mile, I got home from school run so just over 2 miles and according to the step think on my samsung it says I've done just over 6,000 steps! I've been fine until today and only wrote in my introduction how easy I was finding…

Thanks for replying. Probably very stationary once at work. At home on days off probably move around more than at work.I'm not tired as much now so might not need the extra calories from pick up.
-
Sorry i meant the calories earned from walking the additional 1mile to pick DD up and the additional mile home not the ones from this morning. Thanks for the explanation, most helpful before I get to far into calorie counting and do things wrong. I think I might be down on a typical week with walking then and will need to…
-
Hi, thank you  So I can eat the pick up calories if still tired?
-
Well done and thanks for making me realise it is possible.
-
Hi, I'm aiming to loose about 80lb.
