@mtaratoot No better-than bullion in the soup, by btb i meant bring to boil. But i do agree better than boullion adds a lot of flavor, i used to use it back in the day before i had to worry about sodium

Been making a veggie soup nightly for dinner. Saute carrot, celery, jalepeno and onion in pan for a bit, add mushroom, zucchini and garlic, cook till mushrooms have cooked down. Add some pepper, oregano, garlic powder and low sodium broth and btb. Finish with some red wine vinegar instead of salt. I blame the brown color…

Cabbage soup lunches for the week. Will add egg whites after i reheat. I say cabbage soup but there is a ton o veggies in here. Cabbage, broccoli, mushroom, celery, onion, peppers, cherry tomatoes. And an entire head of garlic chopped. My seasonings a little bizarre as i use chili powder, curry powder, red pepper flakes…

I'm trying to get used to preparing foods without salt (high BP). Using citrus and vinegar instead. It's amazing how depressing food tastes without salt. Hopefully my taste buds adjust. Sigh 😕

This one may sound weird..but..anyhoo..Kurobuta sausage and zucchini airfried on top of a salad of cabbage, sauerkraut, spring greens, hiro tomatoes, jalapeno,onion, fennel, feta, caraway seeds and a smidge of sf honey mustard. Side of cheese for the pups.

Teriyaki sesame noodles with cucumber, scallion, bok choy, and chicken. Also a lil scorpion tabasco for some kick 🔥

Another day another salad for dinner. Greekish with salmon and some air fried zucchini

Lunch everyday is my homemade cabbage soup with added kale and egg whites. I make 4 quarts of soup which lasts me 2 weeks. Dinner, yet another greek salad, this time with a true story cotija and poblano chicken sausage. I'm a creature of habit 😉

@mtaratoot i tried your method tonight and surprisingly these mushrooms produced virtually no water as other mushrooms do! Just as delicious as roasted but couldnt achieve all your steps due to the lack of water. Very interesting!

@AnnPT77 i tried your method tonight and was absolutely delicious. These mushrooms are like none other i've had before. I cant quite describe the taste.

Found this thread this week and y'all have inspired me. Went to the farmers market and came back with this cheese haul. Had samples of all and they are delish. $53 for 4 hunks o cheese was a bit expensive, but 2nd to last weekend of the market so i splurged.

Does anyone know the best simple way to cook these mushrooms? Got the today at the farmers market and the are rather large! Remote in the picture for scale
