My boyfriend and I did Hello Fresh for quite a while. It truly did change the way I thought about cooking, meal planning, and vegetables as a whole. We collected a little book of recipes from them too so we can remake their meals with our own groceries! You can learn how to love healthy food and how to make it flavorful so…

So glad to meet you, friend! I'm happy to work together! We need to work on shame though as a motivator. It's not a good one. In my experience, shame might inspire me to do better for a day - "that store had nothing that looked good on me at all, I'm so ashamed of my body, I'll do better." But ultimately shame has always…

That's good progress! 30 pounds feels so rewarding!

Hi there, I also have this disorder. In my job, I've worked closely with substance addicts. Whenever I've reflected on it, I'm surprised at how binge eating disorder is remarkably similar, except the solution is harder because we can't just abstain from our fixation, we have to continuously moderate it (just to be clear,…

Onederland is my long term goal too! We've got this!

I know those days. Sometimes it feels like every day is a struggle. This time around I'm finding it helpful to write. I'm going to be using the status updates heavily to improve my mindfulness about my eating and my goals. I'd love to be pals.

We are sweet fiends. The urge to go buy a ton of clearance valentine's day candy was real haha. Yesterday my boyfriend got a thick amazing slice of chocolate cake while we were out. I managed to limit myself to 4 bites of his slice as my treat. I was pretty proud of that restraint. 🙂

Added! Thanks for wanting to be part of my group of losers!

Hey! Thanks for the reply! I feel you on the drinking, my partner and I love having a drink or two (or three) when we're hanging out in the evenings. I'm going to try and limit that to once a week. I'm looking forward to sharing the journey with you!

Thanks for the support! My partner is also very supportive. I know he would do anything I needed him to do to keep me on track. He's interested in losing with me but not as serious as I am yet (he has less to lose than me though). Still, he's been very good to me. Congrats on your loss!

I'm in Minneapolis, on the yellow team! Love this game already!

I love app! Boyfriend and I had the day off and we walked about five miles. I'm so tired but we had a great time!

I have been really not sticking to my limit this last week or so too. I am still working out the way I was, and enjoy it, but my free time is nothing but eating. I just love food and can't seem to keep my calories in check. If anyone wants to add me, I love friends who inspire!

Wow, the database is all over the map. I looked up "chicken breast cooked" and put in 3.2 oz for 5 or 6 of the choices. I got numbers from 190 to 130. Meat is hard.

Super good idea!

These all sound really good. Thanks all! ^ I love the idea of putting it in a soup.

That's really helpful, thanks! Elliptical isn't on there, but I subbed in something like fast walking? Or which do you think is most comparable? I used a 4 as my MET number. Anyway, I came up with 9.5 or so calories per minute, which sounds about right from what everyone has been saying.

These are CRAZY good! I followed OPs recipe with a spice cake mix, and it's fantastic. I have been topping the muffing with a half tablespoon of light cool whip (5 Cal) and it's like a tiny pumpkin pie.

Right, but my question was how accurate the machine readout is compared to the calories my body is actually burning. I don't want to rely on MFP telling me I burned 600 calories when I'm actually only burning 300.

Thanks for the advice. I am pretty large, so my body is working hard, and I feel like I'm working hard. And I've only been tracking calorie intake for 3 days, though I've been going to the gym e or 4 times a week for about 3 weeks. I go to Planet Fitness. I don't know how accurate their machines are.

Lou. Bega. All day. You just need a little bit of Monica in your life!

Hey OP, I have pretty bad depressive mood swings too. Nothing feels worse than spending all day in bed because you just don't see the point of getting up. But I agree with what's been said before, you should tell someone in your family if you are having a hard time. I know this from personal experience. Don't wait until…

Did your doctor say anything about elliptical machines? They're supposed to be better for joints, right?

Thanks! My boyfriend called me the Carb Queen haha. It's hard to find good things without a lot of carbs. I've been substituting in protein sources instead, we'll see how that goes. :)

Hi, I just started on here but I'm looking to lose about 100 pounds too. I'm always looking for more motivation, so anyone with similar goals can add me too!
