If you want fast, you dont want easy. When I lost 40lbs it was a lot of trial and error. For working out, start off with running, 20-30 minutes, running burns the most calories and keeps your body burning more throughout the day. Something my brother taught me, as soon as you wake up, literally roll out of bed if you have to, and do a max set of pushups. That's a great way to start. Find out the workout you like to do most (or hate least) and begin with that. Maybe keep a healthy snack beside the bed if you don't have any energy in the am.

Keep in mind that everyone had a first time at the gym. Definitely have a plan. If you don't know how a machine works, ask.
