There are multiple (a lot of) reasons to why she has been acting as she did, and you're in no position to know them as it is right now. Give her the benefit of the doubt, accept the request and see what she has to say. If it doesn't work out, never look back - one second chance is more than enough. If it does work out,…

That you can't pronounce them does not make them bad or dangerous. Can you pronounce dihydrogenmonoxide? How about 3-Methyl Butyraldehyde?

Would anyone in their right mind volunteer?

Did anyone ever check if this thread is entirely made of questions?

Can I say both? If not, I'd have to go with Netflix out of comfort. Ever been to Europe (assuming you don't live there) or otherwise the US (assuming you don't live there)?

Your TDEE changed due to the medicine, so you ate too much and thus gained weight. It really is that simple. You just need to keep an eye out for what the medicine might do to your metabolism, and make sure it doesn't change or that you adapt to it in order to stay at the same weight.

The fact that people here felt shamed/put-down because he was questioning measuring food over long-term is just ridiculous. No, OP wasn't the smoothest talker in the world, but nowhere did he/she deserve the response this thread got. I think it's great to bring up other point of views and showing people that there's no…

Personally I end up having unplanned cheat days a little bit too often, and I definitely need to learn how to have better planning not to end up in those situations. I know that if I have a cheat day, I'll most likely continue the next day too with whatever leftovers I have, and so forth. For that reason I try very hard…

Thanks for all of the replies! I don't hit 10k often either, it was more of an example for the sake of the question. My daily goal is 5k, which I usually hit. When it comes to exercise I of course log it, and eat back 25-75% of the calories depending on what I feel like.

I'm from Sweden, and I get 99% of my groceries from Hemköp!

Why don't you whip them up yourself?

I just reached my first weight mini-goal of being under 105 (kilos) today, felt super good! Now my next goal is to be under 100 :)

Yeah, the notifications from the app are super glitchy and sends you randomly to somewhere else. Regarding the number of calories, it might have changed because it was never properly loaded. I've noticed that I get much less glitching if I add/remove food and then wait a few seconds for the app to catch up. I once had a…

There's no such thing as "I'm not losing weight because I'm not eating enough", that's just a myth that really needs to die and be buried forever. The most likely culprit: you're eating more than you think. If you're not logging everything correctly, including dressings, butter/spreads, oils you cook in and such - you're…

So far I've lost approx. 40 bananas of weight, good start eh!

No, you can't spot reduce fat in certain areas, only a calorie deficit will make you lose fat. HOWEVER, you can tone and trim areas by training the muscles there and changing your muscle definition. It doesn't matter how much calorie deficit you have, you won't get a six-pack of abs without doing exercises for those…

Professionals don't go to TV shows, it's as simple as that. If you do what you've always done, you won't lose any muscle mass since you already built it that way. Your body won't change if you don't change what you do with it.

I don't know about your phone, but I use the S Health app on my samsung and it's scarily accurate when being tested. Are you sure your phone is that much off?

That doesn't sound healthy at all.. it sounds very extreme, not to mention that drinking 2 litres + of water each day, is way more than any average human needs. That whole "2 litres" per day is a misunderstood myth. It's meant to include the water we get from food also, which is quite a lot. Not to mention, drinking too…

Regarding the water: drink when you're thirsty. People today drink way too much water and actually screws up with their body's way of handling signals of thirst. Studies have shown that there's been an increase in people showing up at the doctor with symptoms related to drinking too much water, mostly young women who say…

I make my own salad dressing which is from a recipe I got from my boyfriend's dad. It beats any other dressing I've ever had! Recipe: 1 part vinegar 2 parts olive oil Lots of pressed garlic Salad seasoning (some kind of seasoning mix here in Sweden) Little bit of pepper It's absolutely amazing, and according to my…

There's a new ice cream from SIA here in Sweden, which is vanilla ice cream with white chocolate... needless to say I was all over that jazz when it came out. It's totally delicous and definitely worth working the calories into my daily limit. Especially now during summer

A decilitre of oeatmeal topped with one banana, zero-calorie chocolate sauce and some milk. Yum!

Wow, congratulations! You look amazing, in both pictures. But so much healthier in the second!

You can never give another person the blame for something you can or could control. It's only you who can change yourself, and you can't expect others to agree with everything the way you want it. If you feel like you're not in control of how you're eating, you might need therapy. I do myself, as I suffer from binge…
