  • So was MIA for 2 weeks. Major hassle in work and working 7/12 hr days. Major stress equals major stress eating! Takeaways and ready meals etc. Anyway i am going to reign it back in now. And do a shop and prepare lunches etc. Having poached eggs, spinach & grilled vine tomatoes for brekkie. Welcome to all the newbies and…
  • Week 1 done. Sw 162.8 Cw 161.8 1lb loss, I'm happy with that as i still have no kitchen and it was my husbands birthday so we ate out twice and had wine and cake twice!
  • Hey, I like this idea. I won’t post daily but am on board and like the goal and time frame. 25lbs in 6 months is definitely doable. Sw 162.8 Gw 135 I haven’t had a kitchen for the last 6 weeks but new being fitted week after next. Can’t wait to get back on track! I’ll post weekly weigh in and check in a few times a week.…
  • This made me smile, someone's gotten bigger and someone's gotten smaller!
  • You don't say how many calories you are eating though. Also what about your macros? Are you getting your ratios right? Is your profile pic recent? If so your really don't look like you have a lot to lose so 1/4 inch is good going for 4 weeks.
  • I'd say just go and enjoy your meal with your family. Pick up the plan tomorrow, do some exercise drink some water and forget about it.
  • You are right on target, keep going. Are you using a scales to weigh your food? If not then you are more than likely eating more than you think. There's always room to tighten up your logging.
  • Lift, lift, lift! The more muscle you have the more calories you burn. As long as you stay in a deficit you will lose weight. Also make sure to take all of your measurements sometimes the scales is slow to show the results of lifting but the tape measure never lies! Good luck.
  • You need to get out of the mind frame of weighing yourself after an evening out. For gods sake go out, enjoy the food, enjoy the company then get back on plan the next day. Weigh once a week, once a month whatever but stop holding yourself to ransom with the weighing scales! You understand about Cico and needing a deficit…
  • Learn to make your own protein cheese cake, all kinds of yumminess
  • You don't need to run for two hours a day unless you are training for a marathon! What are your stats? Lots of fitnessworkout programmes on YouTube that only take 30 mins or so. Lots of food blogs/Facebook Pinterest for recipe ideas or check out the recipe section here.
  • You don't want to know!!! Struggling, doing fine with the meals but snacking in between. Everywhere I look in work there are tins of sweets on people's desk. We've already gotten through 2 tins of luxury chocolate biscuits in the house since last week! The thing is I feel bloody awful! I will say I don't seem to be as bad…
  • Tut, had planned to stay on track right up until Christmas day and eat whatever I wanted and then get right back to it. Sounded so good, have literally eaten chocolate biscuits every night since last week! I'm so annoyed with myself. Will try again tomorrow. TUT!
  • Grrrrr.... I've been picking all weekend! So sticking to calorie goal but picking in between, I really want to stay focused right up to Christmas Day I'm hoping to lose .6kg this week. Next week is a crazy week for us as myself and my husband own a butcher shop so will be happy to maintain. My plan is to take Christmas Day…
  • Well if you are a morning person it may work better for you, there are lots of quick 20 min work outs on you tube. A hot shower and you are ready to start the day lol! Also out walking, running around the park etc with the kiddies, anything that gets you moving is good. Good luck.
  • I had Chinese food last weekend but I weighed out my portion, I had chocolate but I logged it. You can still have these foods, and not feel like you have blown your diet. Just weigh out your portions and log it. It really is that simple. Get back to it this week. Your mindset needs to change as well as your calorie intake
  • You look as young as your daughters! Congratulations , I can't wait for that feeling!
  • Just wanted to wish you well on your journey. You can do it! I haven't read the whole thread so not sure if it has been mentioned before but is there anyway you can get to a swimming pool? Walking lengths in a pool is easier on your joints etc.
  • Hi, you can add. I'm not much of a poster but I'm logging everyday and you can see my food diary. I'm aiming to lose 10kgs, I've lost 1.4kg in my first week. I'm eating the very same foods as I always have done but just counting calories and staying within my limit. S.
