  • Yep absolutely it works. I lost nearly 30kg in 8 months doing calorie counting to a deficit. Give it a try for a month
  • Eat properly and exercise... that's what we are told to do... but always the most important thing is never discussed... MINDSET. WIthout mindset food and exercise will run out of steam eventually. The resistance you're feeling is a growth signal. Your mind is pushing back because it's resistant to change so it's a positive…
  • Hey - I hit a plateau that lasted about 3 weeks. I didn't change anything up though and left my calorie and workout routine the same. My reasoning was that the weight I lost by the method that got me there wouldn't fail me and the plateau came and went. Belly fat is always the last to go! Keep at it you're doing great bud
  • My abs appeared from a calorie deficit and my workout five days a week. Note that my workout disnt have a specific abs routine in it - I sort of got them for free. Now that I see them I incorporate an abs routine. However, diet played the role as I was on a caloric deficit for about three months prior.
  • Optimum Nutrition Whey protein and casein is what I take as protein supplements
  • Do you believe you can achieve the results you want? If you knew for certain that if you stick to your diet and workout that you’ll 100% be where you need to be 6 months from now, would you do it then? If so, find/follow someone and get as much insight from them so as you believe you can do it.
  • Calorie deficit. Lost over 20 kg. Plus work out 5/6 times a week.
  • For me it didn't matter. As long as my calories were met. However I was also looking at macros too to balance out my meals.
  • For me yeah. I am using my bmi number as my calories and am down the lightest ever with 6 days a week work out and increase muscle mass. I pig out on Saturday's though :)
  • I took my BMI and used that as my calories and I work out six days a week. Weight is lowest ever and 58% lean muscle mass although I'm 5.8"
  • I only take a berocca drink and creatine powder in the morning before working out. First meal starts after 12.
  • This too shall pass. Re-evaluate your WHY. Why do you want to get in shape. Make your why big enough and you'll find your way once again. Thanks for sharing how you're feeling. It's good to get it out
  • I do my Daniel Craig workout 5 days a week - and then Saturday is my any workout day. So, 6 days a week in reality.
  • THIS. I only recently started doing cardio but all my fat loss came from dieting. Muscle/body shape from weights. IMO.
  • 6 months ago I couldnt do one wide grip pull up, now i can do one pull up with 50kg belt on, and then obviously more with lighter weights. Here's how I started: . Used a band to assist pulling me up. Started to wear ankle weights stopped using the band after a couple of weeks struggled to do one pull up added 5kg weight to…
  • Right or wrong here's what I did: 1. Find out my BMI (online calculators everywhere). 2. Use 1500 as my base calories (I am on a calorie deficit for approx 6 months) 3. Work out 6 days a week with same program each week (Daniel Craig Workout 4. lost 20kg so far (about 44lbs) wil prob leave it there at that and move to…
  • I have a berocca and creatine powder before I work out at the gym in the morning but then I wont eat any food until at least 12pm. It certainly makes managing my calories for the day a whole lot easier. And yes, I stopped feeling hungry in the morning very quickly... In saying that though I do drink water and black…
  • Been using these for about a month and have had no problems http://amzn.to/2w0YhUd Get around 5 hours worth of work out with one charge... I have a spare power chord I use in the 10 min drive to the gym just in case it needs a top up. 1) Not falling out of my ears, even when very sweaty or sprinting. My left ear slips a…
  • I didnt start to see real results until around month 4. I was obese and over 20% body fat. Now I'm 8.6%. Here's my feedback on how it all worked for me... I simply focus on the food I was eating, keeping my calories restricted (1500) except for a couple of cheat meals Saturday and maybe Sunday) and just logged my weight…
  • Very Active - work out 6 days a week so I guess I would be. However, once I leave the gym that's me done for the day activity wise (other than playing with my baby).
  • Dominos Veggie Supreme (large), Garlic Bread, two dips to go with it and an ice cream to top it off  My cheat meal on a Saturday (and sometimes Sunday). I still log the entire meal in MFP though just to keep me honest.
  • Hi all, Been a vegetarian for 12 years. Been working out (properly) since my baby was born in Feb and she's been my focus to lead a healthier life and get the body I've wanted since I was a teenager. MFP has been a great help with my goals as I track and weigh most of my food stuffs and the tracking has allowed me to get…
  • For tonight's dinner I had 6 quorn Swedish "meatballs", 4 slices of 60cal bread, 15 ml lighter than light mayo, reduced salt brown sauce, 90g mushrooms and 130g organic potatos. A sort of meatball and potato toasted sandwich. Delicious. 466 calories all in. Stuffed.
  • Quorn Swedish meatballs - absolutely love these. Also, Quorn Sausages. Lovely, too. ON Whey Protein also for protein sources as well as Fulfill bars as a treat.
