When I was 20 I weighed 208. The doctor put me on Meridia and that combines with a very physical job dropped my weight to 140. I kept the bulk of it off until I got pregnant. I was 252 the day I delivered my daughter. I ate all the foods. I bounced around in the 210's 220's for three years and then joined weight watchers.…

I clicked on it for you.... It's just an article about the subsidies the milk industry gets here in the states. Nothing graphic.

Removes waterproof mascara really well. :p

They are. I make my own seitan using vital wheat gluten. (It's also called wheat meat) I usually bake it in a loaf and use it as a 'roast' It also slices up well for sandwiches. Boca is a brand of vegetarian/vegan burgers here in the states. So we have those on a burger night with fries (chips) and the usual toppings.…

Sunbutter is fantastic. My youngest has a severe peanut allergy. It's manufactured in a peanut/tree nut facility and is now soy free too.

I don't eat quorn, as most of them aren't vegan, and I've never heard of Linda McCartney(the food, I know who she is) But I do use things like TVP, seitan, soy curls, boca burgers, and Gardein in my diet. Not all the time as they tend to be pricey. I don't necessarily agree that people that use meat substitutes have a…

No. Mine was like clockwork no matter what my size. But I have to say, I had a total hysterectomy 3 years ago and I definitely don't miss my monthlies. B)

Increase your fat, fiber and water to help move things along. Exercise, like walking also helps. Once you are going regularly, the bloat should dissipate.

http://dailyburn.com/life/recipes/vegan-avocado-chocolate-mousse-recipe/ Try something like this. You don't taste the avocado. But really, there is no need to eat something you don't like just because it's 'healthy' There are plenty of other sources of healthy fats.

I don't think anyone was saying that. Just that the cabbage soup diet was not a great idea. I happen to love cabbage soup.
-
Guacamole, avocado toast.... In wraps, on chili. Why are you eating avocado if you don't like it?
-
Nobody is knocking the soup. It's the overly restrictive low calorie diet that goes along with it..... Day 1: any fruit except bananas Day 2: vegetables but no fruit Day 3: fruits and vegetables Day 4: bananas and milk?!?! Day 5: beef and tomatoes ..... All along with as much cabbage soup as you like, you lucky person...…

Or 'beef' crumbles, gimme lean 'sausage' soy curls, tvp...... There are so many choices these days.

Are you getting enough sleep? Exercise at a different time. If it's something you're truly worried about go see your doctor.
-
It's awful. Just start eating normally and track you calories. The weight will come off.
-
No.
-
How many calories are you eating? Are you adding back any exercise calories? How long have you been restricting calories?
-
I read that as demongrass. :D
-
Huh?

Well, what are you eating right now? You don't need to eat 'healthy' meals. You need to eat fewer calories than you burn. Do you cook? There are tons of recipes online. Find one that looks good to you and make it. If you don't cook, and if it interests you, learn. It's a great skill to have.

What is an 'alternative' doctor? Like a homeopath? Or an actual MD?

I don't like paying for what I can do for myself for free. Also the weekly meetings were torture. Some leader telling us all that carbs are bad, and meanwhile pushing their crappy tasting diet food. At least, that's how it was years ago.

What?

I like cookies. So I will eat them. And still lose weight.

You don't need to look for premade seitan. You can buy vital wheat gluten in just about any supermarket. Bobs red mill is one brand.... Try this recipe. http://planthungry.blogspot.com/2012/11/recipe-baked-seitan-loaf.html?m=1 I don't usually have any issues with getting enough protein. But I love tofu, beans, lentils and…

I've always worn a sleep bra. I think it comes down to genetics and breast density.
