I so agree with the statement! I lost around 30lb before suffering a bout of depression during which time I was losing around 4lb a week because i wasn't eating. Nothing about that time of my life was easy. Eventually i broke. Started on meds and over the course of 9 months managed to put the majority of that back on,…

Thanks for all the suggestions! I shall have a play around with unflavoured and some flavour drops then i think :)

30g of quick cook oats, 30g of protein powder (the not too sweet sort with nuts and chia in), 200ml milk and 10g of chocolate chips. So good.

Im shopping in the UK, either high street or online. Just wondering if there are any powders out there to blend into a shake that aren't super sweet but are still flavoured.

Thanks for all the advice. A pull-up is definitely a goal id like to work towards so thats useful to know quiksylver296. Also good advice on not progressing too fast, i guess it bumps up the weight after every day? I may just edit it so i do a couple of sets before progressing to a higher weight.

I suppose its a learning process. I personally didn't put my weight on by eating chicken salads so to eat those for the rest of my life would result in me sacking the whole "diet" mentality off. Ultimately i still want to eat cake on occasion. I like MFP because it doesn't tell me what i can't eat but it makes me very…

Happy to get all the motivation I can! Congrats on the loss so far too!

Thanks. It looks amazing!!

In brief to answer your 4 questions. 1) I think you can afford to up your protein to 30 and drop your carbs to 40 and still be pretty comfortable but nutritionally getting a better balance. Its the calorie total (in vs out) that determines weight loss though. 2) Nope time of day doesn't matter so long as calories out >…

When you log your food at the bottom where you "complete" there is an option to print :)

If its something I'm taking advice on then i buy it from them rather than take advice for free and buy cheaper online. If its something i don't need advice for then I usually buy from wherever is cheaper.

Don't get too caught up on Macros when you only have 1200 cals to play with. If you lower your carbs though and increase protein then you probably need to increase fats as well to hit goals (like TavistockToad says, peanut butter is a good one, or seeds).

Good luck on your journey. We are the same age and after going through a bit of a life crisis last year I'm doing this for me. Feel free to add me on here, pretty sure my diary is open, I'm not in a hurry to lose it this time I just want it to be liveable.

Based on your stats etc then its possible you will just lose it very slowly now, sometimes the number in our heads doesn't tally up with what the body wants or needs. Try not to get too strung up on the numbers between Fitbit and MFP and its not bad to eat nuts when hungry (healthy sort of fats and minerals) so don't feel…

Just having a quick whiz back through your diary you don't seem to be hitting your calorie goal on the days when you earn a lot of calories back through exercise. Assuming you log everything then over the week you've an entire days worth of calories uneaten which may result in a weight loss but probably won't help in…

Ah thats good to hear. I feel like we very much miss out but if it tastes dreadful thats great :)

10lb mini targets. So much more achievable and keep you motivated. I don't suffer with social anxiety but I have suffered with general anxiety and depression on occasion and its easy to forget just how worth it you are own these moments. If theres a gym near you maybe see if you can do a pay as you go so you don't have to…

Low fat or non fat (or full fat if you like) greek yoghurt blended with some frozen fruit. Quick and easy fro-yo

Im from Blackpool. Good to have some more people on my time zone

I think it depends on the reason you begin losing weight. If its from a hatred of yourself then you don't magically learn to love yourself after you lose the weight. I lost in excess of 50lbs and still had a dislike for myself and actually ended up suffering a period of depression at that point in time before putting about…

Feel free to add me, I'm from up North. Got a hefty challenge ahead of me so i'll be around for the long haul :)
