That's why they say to weigh in around the same time everyday.

You look great
-
thanks

Cream of potato. Yuck, mushrooms. Would you rather....... kale or mushrooms.
-
I binged for three days. Gained at least 6lbs.
-
Ten bucks says the study is bull. Any takers?
-
You still have to diet after those surgeries, but I'm sure you knew that.
-
What is the first 95% stat? :o So a girl was told when she was 12 that surgery was the only way for her. when she went in to get it as an adult the doctor totally supported her and let her know she could do it "naturally". Let me just see if I can find.... the body actually adapts really well. It's like a (flawed)…

added. bumping your thread. (support might be a good place to ask too. or the introduction area. I like to have around 30 friends).
-
Put your headphones in, go for an hours walk. Eat back the extra calories guilt free. Or eat the calorie deficit you had from the past week.
-
The thread that prompted this involved a woman asking how she could assert her boundaries with her husband who thought she was ungrateful, because he gave her a box of chocolates, her favorite treat, and she ended up eating a lot of them. She was told she should be grateful and thank him and show willpower.
-
and let's not forget the other factors involved... remember the girl who is constantly intensely hungry because of a medical condition? http://abcnews.go.com/2020/video/2020-rare-condition-makes-kids-intensely-hungry-247-25005190 she is gaining weight on 900 calories a day. She has been so desperate she ate dog food.
-
Then how was the point you were making relevant?
-
Munch on carrots!
-
Considering her reception what did you expect
-
Ah I see, you ask a question, I answer that yes, what you asked does happen, and you argue semantics. No one needs to sell their kids because chocolate is legal and no one is going to accept payment for chocolate in exchange for children. Not to mention an addict would just steal the food. But you asked a question and I…

I just decided that enough was enough and that this would be the last time. i tend to fall off the wagon after a month. I'm aware of that. If I do fall off, I know the most important thing is just dusting myself off and immediately getting back on.
-
I mean YES historically speaking people have sold their kids for food. So..... lol.
-
right, because people eat themselves to death because they want to. People want to get to the point where they are so big that they can't get off the couch to take a *kitten* (yes, this happens).
-
Did you see that thread where a woman's husband thought she was ungrateful because he sabatoged her with chocolates and she asked advice on how to make this boundary clear to him and she was demoralized to the point that she hasn't been back on by people telling her she should thank him for chocolates and have…

Preach sister!

:o <3
-
Wow you look gorgeous in your workout gear
-
Did you eat back the calories you burned? I sometimes do that, sometimes not. sometimes i burn all the calories i ate! Congratulations!
-
Does it keep track of your resistance and how fast you go and tell you how many calories you burned?
-
I think it depends on the person. I know there are tons of people who would do best with a leveling up system. It would inspire them to compete against them self.

"Starvation mode doesn't exist as you believe it" your assuming I believe misinformation. I don't believe that starvation mode causes you to gain weight, but that it makes losing weight harder. your metabolsim slows down, that's it. There are a lot of medications that effect metabolism, but it would be impossible to…
-
Also- I don't know how relevant this is to anyone else... I was unconsciously waited for a prince in shining armor to come down and make all my mental problems go away and make me happy so I'd want to lose weight. Then I had my revelation where I started living for myself. I realized the only person who can heal me is me,…
-
Of course we do. I've tried to lose weight in the past. twice i lost 30lbs and then fell off the wagon. I had a lot of other mental things to deal with that got in the way, and food was my coping mechanism. It wasn't until I stopped living life for others and caring about what others think, that i finally KNEW that this…
