For me intuitive eating is overeating. Sucks, but the proof was in the scale. I've got to stick to my calorie "budget."

That's fine. You're losing! Keep up with it and you'll reach your goal with time.

A consistent low calorie diet is what works for me to lose weight (1200 calories). I tried intermittent fasting twice for a two month period each time, and didn't lose any weight. It's too hard for to eat moderately on 'normal' days. LOL It might be a useful tool for maintenance, but does not work for losing for me.

Cold turkey, white knuckle is the way to go. You can do it! It doesn't last that long in the scheme of life.

Yes. Estimating doesn't work. Been there, done that.

Happy Scale is the best!! Love it. The Moving Average feature is super helpful.

Cold turkey. White knuckle it for a while and the cravings will go away. (I've done it. Twice!)

Oranges!! My addiction. LOL

For me, I had to white knuckle it through the first month. Sheer minute to minute will power. After that, it's MUCH easier. Also it helps to reprogram yourself that feeling hungry is not an EMERGENCY. LOL

There's not much you can do to avoid it. Learn to LOVE it!! It means you're getting stronger. :-) Mind over matter...
