  • I prefer protien shakes for breakfast. Protien powder of choice, almond milk and chia seeds. On days where I do eat something in the mornings it's usually Kodiak pancakes topped with berries and sliced bananas. Or whatever I am craving that day. Breakfast doesn't have to be "breakfast" foods. You can enjoy anything you…
  • I started with Weight watchers, but wasn't happy with the way the point system worked. So I just eat whatever, whenever staying in my calorie goal. I do try to keep 70-80% of my calories protien/fats based and limit carbs to 20-30%.
  • You aren't alone. I started with Weight watchers at 347 January, and have lost 13 pounds, but I was unhappy with the way logging is, its not very consistent. I've only been logging on here for the last 2-3 days. I plan on switching over to this full time once my WW membership is over. Ive used MFP in the past and had a lot…
  • I am 5'7 and currently 325 pounds. I am consuming anywhere between 1700-2200 calories a day. I do not work out. I am a SAHM, and my only source of moving around is cleaning, cooking, walking dogs, etc. MFP has my calorie goal set as 2,090. I do weigh everything with a food scale with an exception of some things, like…
  • I weigh myself daily in the morning. I like learning about my body. I am aware of fluctuations. I only update MFP though on Monday.
  • I eat as late as I want too as long as its weighed and logged. Last night I had a serving of cereal right before I went to bed at 11:30pm because I was craving it.
  • I keep my hands busy and drink some lemon water. So cleaning, cooking, crafts, etc.
  • I scan my labels for everything that I have. For other things that dont have labels I try to find a USDA entry or I create my own.
  • I love south beach recipes. I did the diet when I was a teenager and lost 100lbs doing so. But as an adult it doesnt work with my life, but I use the recipes often!
  • I like turning chicken into chilli. 1lb chicken shredded, 4 cans beans, 2tsp oregano, 2tsp cumin, 1.5tap cayenne, 3 garlic, 1 onion, 4oz green chilies, and some chicken broth. Just enough to cover the chicken and beans, usually about 24-36oz. Serve with sour cream, squeeze of lime, and some avocado. I am not a huge meat…
  • I'm from the US. I dont like ranch. I have it rare once in awhile with some fries if I am eat out. I am however a Thousand island dressing junkie.
  • For me the most shocking was avocado. I had always thought those were high in calories so I always skipped it or used very sparingly. Today I wanted a quick snack and had an avocado that needed to be used. Ate the whole thing and it was just under 200 calories.
  • Nature valley protein. I like the peanut butter and dark chocolate.
  • On days like this I just skip eating back exercise calories for a few days and most of the time it balances itself out at the end of the week. I dont stress about it.
  • You just need to go into your settings and update your goals. Then your calories will adjust.
  • Just enjoy it in moderation. Maybe enjoy a piece of chocolate but skip the take out. I've learned that if I tell myself no, or restrict/ make items off limits then it leads to bingeing. So i tell myself " yes enjoy that take out (usually stir fry for me) but skip the rice" Etc.
  • It just depends on the amount of binge for me. My body will be bloated and hold onto water up to a week. I just weigh daily like normal and just make a note in my diary or something xx days after xxxx calorie binge.
  • I boil my eggs with vinegar and some salt and dont have any issues. Ever rare once in awhile I get a stubborn one. I just cut it in half, remove the membrane and eat that egg the same day.
  • You just need to do math. If something is set for a certain amount of grams I type in the amount I have / the amount it's set for. Example: I had 213g of cottage cheese / setting was for 113g of cottage cheese Enter into calculator 213/113 = 1.88 that is what I would enter in.
  • Johnny seasoning salt flavored Tim's potato chips.
  • I have this issue. I have insomnia due to autism. Mind never shuts up. I recently starting doing meditation and its helped me a lot, I was asleep by 9pm last night! When usually I am awake till 3am and up by 7:30. My routine: Child to bed at 8. No tv/phone/electronic outside of Alexa to turn on my meditation starting at…
  • I talked to my doctor and ended up getting a prescription for imetrex for my migraine. It might benefit you if you dont talke some already. Every rare one in awhile I do have to go to the hospital for a nerve block. But majority of the time the imetrex gives me same day relief within an hour or two of taking it.
  • Going over and going under some days are okay. As long as you dont exceed past your "weekly" calorie limit. (Even if you do exceed the weekly limit, depending on the limit may just result in a smaller loss for that week) Monday my calories were under by about 200, Tuesday my calories was over by 150. So they kinda even…
  • Eat at maintenance and walk and stay active.
  • Start slow. I am 330lbs and you dont want to make to many huge changes at once otherwise you will fail. For 2 weeks, weigh and log everything. The good and the bad stuff. And be honest with yourself. After you can get through 2 weeks of consistantly logging and weighing food, look through your logs and see how much you are…
  • I dont, only because it doesnt affect my weightloss. I have a lot to lose and 2100 calorie limit so I have wiggle room so I dont have to be exact.
  • Why stick to the same meal all the time? Stir fry some veggies with chicken thighs. Make Turkey burgers with or without bun depending on calories. Brawts cooked with cabbage taste great. The other night I had pork loin with roasted potatoes and mushrooms with a side salad for 450 calories. Look up recipes on pinterest,…
  • I am down 8lbs overnight thanks to salmonella. I got sick shortly after eating my dinner. Probably a delayed reaction to some ground Turkey I forgot to check before I cooked it on Tuesday.
  • I love a pack of tuna mixed with salt, pepper and pickles and will use cucumber as my crackers. Low enough in calories I dont feel guilty after eating the whole bowl. For TV watching, I like pretzels w/ a wedge of laughing cow cheese. The spicy one is my favorite.
