Will MFP adjust calories as you lose weight?

I’m getting close to 50 pounds lost over the last 6 months or so, will my fitness pal automatically adjust my calorie needs? I’m guessing as I weigh less I should need fewer calories right?

You just need to go into your settings and update your goals. Then your calories will adjust.2

Check your data and make changes.
Click Upate Profile at the bottom when you finish, even if you don't make any changes. That's what prompts the calorie change.0 -

Are you on 1200?0 -
At certain loss intervals mfp will adjust down to calories goal for the same target loss per week.
As one loses weight it takes fewer calories to maintain one's weight.0
