Today my goals are to stick to my meal plan and not drink

Hey everyone, really ready to get back to where I want to be. Heaviest weight- 227 Lightest weight - 112 Current weight - 152 Goal weight - 144 I have been both fat and extremely fit, and am now somewhere in between. I am so tired of my clothes being tight and uncomfortable and feeling bad about myself. Let's make June…

So glad I found this! As of the last couple months my drinking has insidiously been increasing and becoming a habit. I know it's not good for my health and need to change
-
You are so beautiful and I can just feel the exuberance of your words! I'm so happy for you. It's awesome that you envisioned your goal and made it happen. Keep up becoming the best version of yourself!!

Injuries are an inevitable fact of life, especially if you're putting your body through some serious training. Try not to let it bring you down too much because you WILL get back at it. Crosstrain what you can in the meantime. Good luck!!

You had me at "burrito"

I think This is going to be very difficult for you to hear and even harder to implement, but it sounds like you need a full break from dieting. Youre in an awful cycle that more restriction won't break. After an extended period of being in a hypocaloric state you are primed psychologically and hormonally to binge binge…

Are you male or female?? If you're a woman then you're well lean enough at 14% to bulk
-
Use the personal training!
-
Strength train them so they grow, then strip the fat off them.
-
You can definitely get stronger by doing yoga. Maybe try a corepower yoga class or one of the ones that focuses on building strength. I powerlift and do yoga and they both have served me well.
-
Building big lats should be avoided if you want to wear suits and not worry about women wanting to rip them off of your sexy jacked physique. IMO big wide back is sexy af

They may never "notice." it's detrimental to your motivation and well being to depend on others for validation. Set goals that are important to YOU and once you achieve them you will feel very accomplished and fulfilled and go on to set bigger and better ones.

If you're feeling super full then more fatty stuff will probably just make that feeling worse. Maybe try stuff that's super calorie laden but not filling like candy. I frickin love gummies after my lifting sessions. Quick acting carbs that really aren't filling but give your muscles a quickly available source of…

If you're gaining too much then adjust your calorie intake. Don't be afraid to try new things and see what works for you. If you put on a little excess fat the world won't end, it will come back off. Just enjoy the bulk for now!

You have to decide what's more important, being at your goal weight or looking how you want to look. In order to make true progress it's necessary to use the scale simply as a tool to measure whether or not your plan is working. Honestly you'll get the most noticeable results if you're willing to let that number on the…

Simply put - you can't make something out of nothing. If you want to gain muscle you need to give your body something to use: surplus calories. You have to overcome your fear of gaining weight.
-
Yeah girl! Feed those muscles and get those gains!! Seriously, eat big, lift hard, you'll start seeing some nice changes in your body.
-
Just get an assessment done. Alot of exercise science departments at universities have either a bod pod or hydrostatic weighing tank which will give you a pretty accurate percentage. It's generally pretty affordable too. I paid 40$ for bod pod and 35 for the hydrostatic. Or even cheaper and more readily available option is…

He's got a good point. Even with added weight the body will try to return to its original "set point" OP should do the same as if he just finished cutting: maintenance phase for at least a month to allow the body to stabilize and retain the hard won new muscle mass. It's soo tempting to get that fatty bulk off asap, but be…

Oh jeez I love love microbrews, but wow do they pack a caloric punch. So if I am drinking it's usually whiskey and diet, beer if I'm going totally crazy
-
Oh man, the no alcohol thing is rough :s

No one can do this for you but you. Each indivual person has something that will genuinely motivate them to make meaningful change in their life. If you're not already doing what you said you would, then you're not ready. Find out what drives you, or buckle down and have some discipline to get what you want. Enlist the…

Is your weight going down? If it's not then maybe need to lower daily kcal intake by 250. Also keep in mind that at home body fat measuring devices function using bioelectrical impedence which is notorious for being horribly inaccurate. If possible, look into having hydrostatic weighing or bod pod done to get more accurate…

You only need one if your diet is crap or you're doing ultra low cal dieting. Usually a waste of money IMO
-
Oh jeez I can so identify with this. I lost a massive amount of weight and was so disciplined in the beginning. Now that I'm within 5 lbs of my current goal weight I just struggle so hard to stick to my plan. I too have fought the binge cycle :( congrats on the progress though, your goal is entirely attainable.

Kettle bells are retarded. There I said it
-
Gotta lose more fat. Even then your belly might not look the way you want it to. Harsh reality but weight loss can cause skin laxity that can only be changed with surgery
-
Damn those tricky apples!!

Bro... c'mon now. You know the answer - you're in the bodybuilding forum. Pick up heavy things. Put them down. Repeat. Follow with copious amounts of tasty macros. Repeat
