Thank you all for suggestions, not avoiding protein just saying on weekends where I've had a brunch full of protein (and everything else... bacon, egg, sausages etc) I'm still hungry at lunch time. So I prefer to have a light breakfast and save calories for later :smile: . Just was getting bored of the sugary cereal…

Hmm, you all seem to manage eating out, I'm obviously doing it wrong! Plan is to tighten up the logging and as suggested, move more! Thanks all.

Thank you all for your replies, very helpful. For a start I need to tighten up my logging-now I'm nearing goal, I don't have much deficit to play with. Once I can be sure I am logging accurately I can save some calories for restaurant meals. Luckily I don't drink alcohol or I'd be gaining weight, not just static! What are…

Half a pound a week is all I'm trying to lose now, and I do exercise but probably not enough! I've got some time off work so I'll try to get more active and see if I can get in a better routine with it! Thanks all x

I went from 230lb 14 years ago to around 140lb. The weight crept back on and I hit 170lb in August. Since then I've managed to get back to 140lb. So I never put all the weight back on but I was going that way had I not intervened!

Thank you for the reply. Yes I did, I suffer with chronic migraine. I was told weight loss may help but it's important not to get hungry or dehydrated as these are migraine triggers. Unfortunately I haven't managed to find a way of restricting calories and not being hungry!

I've had a few positive comments, a few statements "you've lost loads of weight" and just one "you need to stop now, you're too thin" (I weigh 10st and am a UK Size 12 FFS). I wouldn't expect someone to comment how fat I was so why acquaintances think it's ok to comment on my weight now, I'm not sure.

If your hypothyroidism is adequately treated it shouldn't make any difference to your weight loss. Maybe worth checking your thyroid function tests if they haven't been done since you started trying to lose weight
