I don't like going slow enough that I can hold a conversation. I lose focus and don't push myself as much. Tho I have told a friend of mine (who just started running) that time will come with distance. The longer you run the faster your speed will get (over time). Cardio alone is the hardest way to lose weight. Need to cross-train. Use weights and do cardio. Also a healthy diet of course is needed!

I was always one that was super small. Then I was put on medication which helped one part of me but then I would slowly gain weight from it. I always worked out but never ate right either. I would get on the scale occasionally and see "oh another five pounds added." But didn't physically see it until i compared pictures…

I would like to join this group! I've been on and off with MFP. But I'm cracking down now, got a personal trainer this time and I'm really going to be held accountable for this! I got about 25 pounds to lose. And then after that I hope to continue to eat healthy (I love chips and chocolate) so I hope I'm able to break that…

I wanna lose about 20-25 pounds as well. Just started using mfp again. But started dieting more last week and already lost 2 pounds which is a start!

I rarely add sugar and salt into things so that's one thing I can do easily! And the small plates haven't worked for me (I gotta try harder) cause I'll eat a small plate and then an hr later (usually out of boredom, another problem of mine) I get another plate of something.
