July 3 Exercise: Body Beast Shoulders and Insanity warmup (50 mins total) Logged and tracked calories. I did a search and actually found UAC through perusing the forum and someone mentioned it. Sounded right up my alley.

Thank you Rick for sharing and taking the leadership reins. Exercise: Insanity Max 30 Friday Fight . Does folding loads of laundry count too? Lol Calories: yes. Tracked: yes My real challenge starts during the week for me. One day at a time!

July 1: Exercise: 38mins insanity pure cardio...one of my fave workouts that leaves me drenched with sweat. I also had a few errands to run so walked about 60 mins. Calories: stayed within budget. Tracked all food and workout. Here's to a great start and thanks for this group

I actually infuse my water bottle with a tea bag during the day and keep topping up with ice or water . Today I am drinking ginger peach tea.
-
Same. I enjoy the crunch.
-
Bump ...listens too

It's my go to cardio workout. It's brutal but only 30 mins and Shaun T pushes you through. Use the modifier if needed and keep at it

Newbie here. I just came across this group and it's exactly what I need. My weakness is consistency and I really want to make a lifestyle change especially when it comes to regular workouts and having healthy but sustainable eating habits. With a demanding job and a 5yo, it is tiring most days but I know I can do this and…

Thank you!

Do you mind telling me what sort of results you got with p90x3? I am yet to do the program.
-
Agreed, I regretted not lifting earlier.
-
Check out p90x3 or hard corps 22. Fitnessblender has a wide variety too

Which workout DVDs are you doing?

Yesterday was body beast back and biceps. I do warmup using first 10 mins of insanity warmup just to get the blood flowing a bit. Definitely feeling a bit sore this morning. Today is cardio Ellie, I don't think I can do two workouts back to back as I am sure my form will suffer. Lol. I used to do cardio in the morning and…

Consistency is what works for me. I take a break when I am on vacation but I am usually active during that time as well.
-
I alternate the days as well to get max benefits of both endurance cardio and strength. I enjoy doing a combo
-
Thanks. I also did p90x a couple years ago but I do not have the time to invest in that program. And yes ...the results were incredible. Right now I am doing a stint of body beast and insanity max 30 hybrid but I may incorporate p90x3 as I have them.
-
BodyBoss program sounds interesting, is it on YouTube? I prefer to do 30 - 45 min sessions myself. I have p90x3 but never completed the program ...what is your experience with it?
-
Total gym sounds fantastic. This morning I had a banana and did 30 mins insanity cardio challenge. Definitely got my heart pumping.

The importance of a food scale to accurately track calories. Maintain exercise and eating habits that you know you can handle long term so it doesn't become a chore. Do what you enjoy, eat in moderation. Incorporate weights sooner than later.

I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 10 years ago. I am on birth control to regulate my periods (only came off when I was ready to conceive). Lower carb worked for me imitially along with consistent exercise. I weighed and logged everything and lost the weight. I have about 5lbs again to reach my goal weight. The issue with…

How old are your kids. I usually work out after work at home and my 5yo does his own version along with me. Sometimes he gets bored and plays with his toys or watch tv. I do a lot of workout DVDs or YouTube vids. I have dumbbells, stability ball and resistance bands which works for me. I wake up at 4.30am and I refuse to…

Today I did body beast build chest & triceps. I warmed up with insanity warm up session used in his month 1 workouts as I find Sagi's warm up and cool down somewhat lacking for me.

I'm 36 and weigh about 122 - 124 at 5'4". I am comfortable maintaining between 115 - 120 so looking to lose a few lbs. Hopefully I can see some progress.

Another trini here
-
I do the same.

I typically enjoy the day eating light before and after and revert to usual eating the next day increasing on water intake. Some people eat a healthy meal just before and partake in a few essential items as they are already satiated.

It's a great stress reliever for me to get into the zone and clear my mind. My quality of sleep has greatly improved when I exercise consistently.
