  • What's the rush? 12.25 lb per week (49 lb in 4 weeks) is pretty much impossible without some sort of surgical limb removal. Losing weight at a rate anywhere near this severe is bound to take lean muscle mass along with any body fat. The recommended max of MFP is 2 lb per week.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar is an acid. Adding more acid to your stomach isn't going to improve heartburn or acid reflux.
  • I use these for snatching and they help a ton. Easier and more comfortable for me than taping. Jerkfit Nubs P.S. Wear them inside-out so the seam is doesn't rub.
  • That's a huge win! Great job!
  • I keep a small scale at work. If I take a banana or similar fruit with inedible peel for a snack where I won't have access to a scale (I haven't gotten to the point of carrying one in my purse-yet), I weigh the whole fruit at home and write the weight on the peel with a sharpie. Then, as mentioned above, stick the peel in…

  • I doubt it has anything to do with your sweat. You sweat over most of your body, but not the palms of your hands. It sounds like a mild allergic reaction. Did you start using any new products (particularly face products) or eating any new foods? Is there anything in your Aloe Vera other than the aloe? Are you using a towel…
  • The premium feature does not help with net carbs. Just track Carbs and Fiber and do the math or use/make net carb entries. Because of the international spread of members and data, there is no way for MFP to accurately calculate net carbs. Some countries already list their carbs as net so any automatic calculation for those…
  • It's a store bought one, but I love the Bolthouse dressings. Particularly the Salsa Ranch, but they have lots of flavors. It's only 45 calories for 30 g and it's delicious! I also buy the Panera Poppyseed dressing. It's 25 cal for 30 g. Both of them are located in the refrigerated produce section.
  • I don't love cooking and I really hate doing dishes. Meal prep has been a blessing for me. I cook one day a week, then portion everything out and freeze it. The rest of the week, there is no cooking at all. Pinterest is a great place to find lots of recipes and you can tailor the search to any likes/dislikes you may have.
  • There is nothing to say you have to limit yourself to one activity. Choose what you enjoy. I CrossFit 5-6 days a week, but I also lift weights and run because those are things I like to do. The weight loss will come with better accuracy in weighing/tracking your food.
  • Do it! I really, really wish I had done it at the start of my weight loss to be able to compare to now. I do use them now (about once a quarter) to check my progress as I'm in recomp.
  • I absolutely LOVE this perspective and will do my best to adopt it. I struggle with depression and anxiety and do an excellent job of beating myself up if I slip. Which, as you would expect, just makes the depression and anxiety worse. Your motto is a lot more forgiving.
  • Do what you can comfortably exercise wise, but you can lose weight without it. To get the most benefit out of MFP, make sure that you're logging is accurate. Are you using a food scale? Are you choosing database entries that are accurate? You may get more helpful suggestions if you provide your stats and open your diary…
  • I just had my body fat measured with hydrostatic testing (one of the more accurate methods). I've done it multiple times to track progress and the numbers are consistent - although thankfully improving. I'm currently just over 18% and my profile pic is recent. The calculator posted above had me at 26% so not accurate for…
  • When I was heavier (and bustier), I was in love with the Brooks (formerly Moving Comfort) Fiona. It's based on bra size rather than small/medium/large. Brooks also has a couple of other styles for even higher impact or larger bust sizes. Plus, pretty colors!
  • I eat dessert most every day. The low calorie high protein cheesecake is amazing! I also frequently eat Yasso frozen yogurt bars and Halo Top ice cream.
  • I have never (and will never) have a thigh hap and I have done plenty of long distance races without chafing. Personally, I prefer to wear capris or tights when I run so that they don't creep up like shorts can. If you like to wear shorts where skin can rub skin, use something like Body Glide. If you're not having this…
  • There are a million of them and they are all pretty similar. Find one that weighs in grams as well as ounces and party on. Personally, I just went to Amazon.
  • Breathe, my friend. You may not be doing anything wrong. As @malibu927 said, you can't compare numbers from different scales at different times of day with different clothes on. My rule of thumb is to go back to basics when in doubt. Weigh yourself first thing in the morning. Use that information in MFP to set your daily…
  • Are you looking for any particular advice? I have PCOS and had hypertension until I brought my weight down so I might be able to help.
  • I mix a packet of Better Oats Steel Cut Oats with one scoop of Quest Peanut Butter protein powder (total 240 calories) every morning for breakfast and I'm good for a couple of hours. I think the added protein helps so I don't feel sluggish and keeps me from getting hungry so fast.
