It truly was. I'm also engaged to the cute guy with the glasses behind me in my before pic.

I still love reading these! I had a girlfriend bring over a shirt for me for an event and for the first time I wasn't totally worried if it would fit. It fit perfectly and I don't even know what size it was, I never asked. It's amazing how much less stress I have when I don't have to worry about clothing/fitting.

Here's a face one. The right photo was St. Patty's in 2017 at probably 210lbs although I started at 220lbs. Left photo is St. Patty's 2018 at 161lbs. Still losing albeit much slower.

You really don't need to change anything. Your rate of loss is great! Expectations need to be changed is all.

Where's that thread on how sodium affects your weight...
-
Yes, I do this frequently!!

I will never move the barbell ever again.

I do this frequently!

But you are.

Are you eating less than your calorie target? If yes, then you may not be able to 'submit' your diary but your info is still saved. Also, you shouldn't be eating less than your target.

I held crow pose yesterday at yoga for the first time. I made a goal this year to hold an inversion pose with my feet in the air and it's crazy to think I will actually hit that goal.

I take it back. Sorry OP and PP.

Looks like a dude to me.

I'd rather not *kitten* on the people who don't fit into my mold of weight loss perfection... since I use to be that person. People can find out how to lose weight when they research and trial/error. There's no need for MFP people to change what they post or how they post. The people here are super knowledgeable and if…

It hinders me only bc I crave more food. But if you log it and it fits your calories for the day than no it won't hinder it. Although drinking frequently will probably impact your liver function more than your weight. It's always worth a shot to cut down to 2 nights a week or maybe even 1 night week just to see how it…

Great job! Keep it up!

I assume your goal is to lose fat, not just weight. Weight is the accumulation of your entire body including fat and water. Our bodies do a pretty great job of retaining water when needed which can mask fat loss. I can go 2 weeks without a loss and then whoosh 2 lbs gone. It's not linear. As long as you know you're…

I have inherited an instant pot but I don't get the craze for it. It's a pressure cooker, they've been around for awhile. I sometimes find the food lacks flavor although the rice function comes in handy a lot.

I still bite my nails but not nearly as much as I did before. A couple things have cause me to stop. 1. I don't want to be the professional in the conference room with broken nails and bloody skin around the cuticles. 2 I told my boyfriend to tell me to stop every time I was doing it. I realized what triggers by desire to…

I fit all of my cravings into my calories goal. I have bean eating 2-3 Girl Scout cookies everyday for the last 2 weeks pretty much. Pre log them so you can make it fit. My willpower only goes so far every day.

Take pictures. They really help when you're having a bad day!

Yes, weigh naked.

Happens to me too. I have my activity level set to sedentary so I get credit for every step but any manual exercise I put in negates it. I assume that it's MFP unable to distinguish exercises like swimming vs running where your iPhone might be picking up steps. And rightly so, MFP doesn't want you to double dip. With that…

15lbs of loss in a month is very aggressive unless you have a lot of weight to lose. I'd talk to your doctor for sure if this is out of the norm. I have lost 59lbs in a years time and have not experienced this.
-
Both options will probably get you to your goal. Not sure why you're concerned. The active level is simply taking your sedentary level and including calories burned through promised activity. I personally choose sedentary and eat back my exercise calories bc my work out schedule isn't consistent. And I work from home so I…

Sounds like your deficit is too large. 1450 is already a deficit, then you don't even hit that goal sometimes and then you don't eat your exercise calories back. You may be netting 1200 or less calories a day. Which would make anyone irritable.
-
I wish someone would've put me on a diet when I was 13. I needed help.
-
When you got moody or irritable before your deficit, would you turn to food to cope?

Play a sport! Tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, all good cardio activities that make you forget you're doing cardio.
