You can also do a plank on your hands with straight arms, your wrists are bent and your hand flat on the floor @musicfan68. I do some of both personally.

When I use the body frame calculators I come up with small frame due to skinny wrists, I also have tiny hands and very slim feet and ankles though feet are average size for a woman my height. But I have an athletic build, shoulders, waist and hips are all of a muchness, thank goodness for the boobs or I'd be curve-less! My…

@RamboKitty87 like the poster above I was also triggered by large portions as well as fat, I had two chicken legs/thighs total fat 16g, I was in agony. I really think you will have to go lower fat, as I said I eat less than 17g a day, haven't had any pain for 5 months now.

@RamboKitty87 please send a friend request, my diary is closed but happy to answer any questions :) Whilst I would never suggest needless surgery you do need to be careful with gallstones, watch out for signs of infection such as pain to touch under your ribs on the right or raised temperature, also watch out for jaundice,…

Hi currently awaiting gallbladder removal here, since Jan this year...NHS also. I have found I can't eat more than 6g fat in one sitting, I normally average 17g a day across meals and snacks. It is difficult to get my calories in but I have been advised by a registered dietician to make them up in carbs including refined…

I take tinned fish, cous cous, UHT milk (no need to refrigerate) eggs, fresh and dried fruit, pasta, rice, tinned a fresh veg and wine, lots of wine...have fun!

I've been buying in charity (thrift ) shops and on eBay, that way I can get quality clothes at a fraction of the price that are smart enough for work - senior manager in health provision. I love the fact that I have so much choice now I'm smaller :)

I have 2 glasses on a Fri and Sat night, nothing the rest of the week, I can fit it in my calorie goals and enjoy the taste and slight buzz I get (I'm a cheap date now I've lost weight!)

Thank you @lorrpb I'm off on holiday in a few weeks, I think I'll transition into maintenance then and start recomp when I get back :)

As a woman I have had the odd week when I haven't lost ( guess what was to blame) but I've lost 44lbs since Jan, I'm 8lbs to goal weight of 140lbs and no plateau here

Fabulous post! Congratulations!

Just wanted to say hi and you are not alone, single mum of two here and working full time. Attending a gym is not an option unless I want to shell out more for childcare, and firstly that's expensive and secondly I like spending time with my two. I have been walking as my main form of exercise since I started in Jan. I've…

Started as a 38GG bra (UK) in Jan this year, just found out I'm now a 32G cup, truly gobsmaked!

This isn't always the case, if your skin has been stretched for a long period of time and you are older and you are genetically predisposed you may have loose skin regardless. I have lost 48 lbs averaging 1-2lbs a week and currently have some loose skin, though I am hopeful it will tighten up over time as the skin under my…

I bought a pair of skinny jeans off a Facebook selling page ( second hand) they are a size 12 ( US size 8). Took a risk as they were only £2.00, they looked tiny, in fact they were a 12 Petite, and they fit!! Bit short in the leg by about 5 inches but perfect as summer capri pants. My summer wardrobe of teeny tiny clothes…

Wow! Congratulations, you are looking great.

Whilst there maybe areas in Europe that have issues with drinking water, Switzerland is not one of them, its all about making money. Having travelled through many European countries ( being a Brit) restaurants will often assume you want bottled water unless you specify otherwise, the same happens in the UK.

Congratulations, I hit healthy BMI at the beginning of last week so I know it feels great :) Some good tips here on next steps, I want to get further down into the range, I still have a lot of fat around my waist to shift. I'm playing the weight loss by ear now as I don't want to begin to look gaunt but want to get as lean…

Congratulations!

Flavoured cous cous and pasta, just need boiling water, eggs don't need to be kept cool, soy based long life desserts, fruit and vegetables, other tinned fish or meat. Buy fresh stuff daily if possible.

And us Brits, sorry you bumped into me, sorry I'm crying because I've had a bereavement, sorry I need an ambulance...nice to know we're not the only overly apologetic nation!
-
Wow, amazing and such dedication!

Congratulations, you look amazing!

I thought possibly Bells Palsy too, I think it's worth a check up with your Dr.

Congratulations, you look great!

I eat over my sugar allowance several times a week, advised to do so by a dietician as eating very low fat while waiting for gallbladder removal and consuming sufficient calories is difficult. I've lost 46lbs since January this year so doesn't appear to have hampered my weight loss at all...and I'll eat a dessert every…

You look great in those trousers :) Congratulations on the weight loss!

Like a lot of previous posters I take a supermarket brand A to Z multivitamin plus minerals one a day. I am eating very low fat due to gallstones and was advised to do so by a dietician. I have been vit D deficient in the past ( but that was in March in the UK, hadn't seen the sun for over 3 months at that point) Recent…

Wow, well done!
