Day 2 of B,G, & A on top of Day 62 of a regular yoga practice.

I already started, but I stalled out when I hit week 3. Such a big bump up in the cardio from W2 to W3... I think I'll repeat week 2 this week.

Try Yoga With Adriene on YouTube. She has a remarkable amount of yoga practices on YouTube for free (and her paid membership site is $10/month only). She also has videos dealing specifically with different "pranayama" (breathing techniques). Definitely check out her pre- and post-run yoga videos.

I'm late to the thread, but here's my 2 cents on Beyond/Impossible meat: They made it as close to "real" beef as possible. So... if you wouldn't eat a regular Whopper, you shouldn't eat an Impossible Whopper, either. It's not any better for you, it's just better for the planet (and some argue against that, too).…

I think I posted here back in the winter about how much colder you feel, but now it's summer and time for the corollary: You'll stop hating hot weather and start loving it.

And flying economy class is no longer torturous!

Your alcohol tolerance goes down!

And getting caught in the rain!

Fantastic idea! I'm in. Let's see real quick where I'm at right this moment... 2 hours and 4 minutes after 4 days. Brewing on the weekend should count for something, but I'm not sure what, so I'll just leave it off  Need to step it up.

I got upset when I got over 300 pounds on the scale. I dropped back down to "normal" at 275 and said never again would I get that heavy. When I got over 290 again, I was triggered. Those days are gone for good, and I'm fairly happy hovering around 205, although I'd like to lose 10-20 more pounds. Wishing I'd hit that…

YWA is great. I started with the "TRUE" series (30 days) and it was easy enough in the beginning, and by the end of it I was doing some things I was pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to do. I'm now on my 48th consecutive day of yoga, and can't imagine missing a day. Adriene has a mantra of "find what feels good" and…

I experimented for a while with changing my settings to "sedentary" (from lightly active) and syncing Fitbit steps, and it was an absolute failure. My calories for the day would exceed the calories from "lightly active" without steps just by basically getting out of bed in the morning.

More than 2 feet off the ground: flying!

A real man does whatever TF he wants to do, ergo everything I do is manly. :smirk:

In my personal experience, the best thing you can do is order the pizza, eat the number of slices that fits inside your calorie goal (or maybe even one extra), and then move on. Diets where you deprive yourself of what you are craving are simply doomed to failure. I had so much pizza on this incredible journey (88 pounds…

The gym has more than just treadmills, and you should use more than just a treadmill. Gym for the win.

If you can hear it, record it. Contact CPS (if in USA?).

The number on the scale. Sorry, but the sun isn't even up yet, so that's the best I can do.

pull-ups (also: why all the squat hate? Squats are fantastic!)

What was the damage? That every time I hit a new low, I bounced back up. All told, from Thanksgiving to the new year I gained 1.5 pounds, but that's effectively nothing. I can gain/lose that much at the drop of a hat. This morning I lost 3 pounds from yesterday. I'm back on track now. I want to hit my next goal…

I've been there and done that, and now that I've become successful, please accept this little bit of wisdom that I have finally learned: You are *ALWAYS* motivated. The question is, what are you motivated to do? You have to decide that you want the thing you wish you had (a skinnier body?) more than you want the thing…

Hurt my foot in the NYE 5k, but I'm in for the month anyway. Hopefully the foot is feeling better sooner rather than later. Mileage goal: 50 miles Pace goal: 8 minute mile on the days I do short runs
