I only exercise to be able to eat more. Oops.

1200 calories isn't a lot, and that's probably why you end up binging, try upping your calories and see what happens! I was 187 and 5'3" when I started and have lost 10lbs at 1400 calories.

I'm an ex soda fiend so I drink a lot of Grapefruit La Croix. I really just need the fizz. Also, coffee, and water of course.

Yep, there's usually a jackpoo/cat battle going on behind me if I don't shut the door.

I use my fitbit to track and attempt to eat back half unless I'm really hungry. Even then I try to leave a 150 calorie padding. Doesn't always work.

I love, love cheese. I always put cheese on everything, heftily. I never realized just how much it adds calorie wise! I definitely use it in moderation now and don't use it on things like burgers where I load it up with so much other stuff (onions, pickles, mustard, etc) that I can't even taste the cheese!

Looking for friends! 5'3", about 40lbs to lose, 60lbs to ultimate goal, but I'm using 40 as an attainable goal. Add me if you eat what you want and love food! I'm honestly not that strict with my food, just trying to stay below my deficit and work out about 3 times a week! Sort of new to this still, it's been less than a…

Yup... I wear the Old Navy high waisted pants, they suck that sucker in!

Definitely biscotti. YUM.

Sundae out of the freezer or frosted strawberry. I think the strawberry is just a nostalgia thing but damn I love those things.

Yesss. Vodka here. Oh I have 200 calories left for the day and no snacks? Don't mind if I do....
-
No, I just eat pizza at least once a week so I figured what the hell.
-
I didn't make dinner so I'm probably going to order a real pizza. Bring it.
-
I made a cauliflower crusted pizza last night and it actually tasted good??? I guess because the crust is half parmesan cheese  Maybe it just felt good to eat half a pizza again

I understand this completely. It's hard to live in the same house as someone who doesn't have to work to stay in shape. My boyfriend is 6' and has an active job which keeps him in line, I have a desk job and nearly a foot shorter. After 5 years of living together it's hard to bring back the "you do you, I do me" mentality…

I hate running. I hated running when I was fit, I hated it jogging by the lake, I hated it inside. I realized I'm just not a runner, it never seemed to get much easier for me so I stopped. Losing weight can be hard enough, there's no need to torture yourself. Find something you enjoy!

Those things will be the death of me. That is ONE thing I cannot trust myself with. One here, one there, oh look I've eaten 30

Yes! Thank you :)

Usually only straight water, but I also drink La Croix and coffee. I see the seltzer as just an added bonus because I easily drink 64oz a day and feel like crap if I don't. Honestly logging it just makes me feel better, so I do it.

David Wolfe is an idiot. I'm sorry, but I don't trust anything that man says.

It's working for me! Just changing some bad habits, drinking lots of water, and staying under my calorie goal (usually). It's a slow process, but it does work if you stick with it. I find that it's easier to stick with it if I'm not restricting myself horribly and it becomes torture (aka, a DIET). Just small changes here…

Do we have a group? We should definitely have a group instead of just a thread! I've really just started to be more cautious about my portions, counting what I eat, and working out and I'm losing weight. I'm happy with that. I don't need to deprive myself! Cheese is my life's blood.

I've had a Fitbit before and forget which one. I had issues with the small clock screen getting really scratched up (I have an office job, nothing rough), and for $150 I didn't think that should be happening. The band also really irritated my skin, even after having it for months and got dirty quite easily. I would have to…

5'3", just started a few weeks ago at 185lb, but have been around 150-160 all of my life. Finally trying to get down to my healthy range, but right now the goal is 140. It's so nice to hear that other people have the problem of being smaller and being called "curvy." I've found that I carry weight pretty well, but it's…

I made sweet potato nachos a few nights ago, obviously not crunchy like nachos, but pretty damn good! Oven baked sweet potatoes and cauliflower covered in black beans, some sharp cheddar, add some plain greek yogurt, green onion, jalapeños, and verde salsa on top, voila! If I want to make healthy tex mex-y type stuff I use…

I've found my people! This is refreshing.
