Thanks for your kind words - figured I would have had some people comment saying to just have more self control or you just have to suck it up and stick with a plan. After 25 years of battling with this it just isn't that easy. But I have a son now - I want to see him grow up and play and take him snowboarding and hiking…

So is this not true from Harvard?IF makes intuitive sense. The food we eat is broken down by enzymes in our gut and eventually ends up as molecules in our bloodstream. Carbohydrates, particularly sugars and refined grains (think white flours and rice), are quickly broken down into sugar, which our cells use for energy. If…

630 was the time for dinner. My dinner is normally 800 calories. I also eat a pear, mango, avocado, larabar, some grapes, and pinneapple chunks + two boiled eggs. I have not tried flavored coffee... The reasons I am doing IF include: -- Hoping to continue burning fat stores all day instead of food I eat. -- Normally not…

I could - I have plenty of time if I wanted to eat the same 1 or 2 things over and over again. But I want to be able to go buy stuff like this - kinda hard to meal prep just 1 of each:1 - pot roast meal 1 - meat loaf meal 1 - pesto chicken plate 1- spaghetti meatball 1 - chicke alfredo 1 - carne asada bowl 1 - pulled pork…

Might just have to go with the Sproutts stuff.

Was trying to avoid driving to 4-5 stores today - ha ha.

I'll get bit and then all I will eat is brains - no preperation needed.

$150-$160 a week maybe for meals for two people. Right now I spend around $75-$100 doing it all myself for us.

Subscription service - sounds fantastic - any ideas for healthy, good, affordable ones?

Rate of loss selected - 2lbs per week.

Sorry - yes I weight anything that is not single serving with calories listed (ie - fruits, veggies, sugar, spices, salt, liquids, etc) - got a food scale especially for that.

My MFP logging is on point - eating under my 2000 calorie setting by around 100 a day. I do NOT eat back my exercise calories. Set to sedentary - I just sit in a chair all day and then go home and sit all night. I work out 20 minutes in the morning after I get up. Eating pretty much all non processed meat + veggies for…

Can you turn off the EAT CALORIES BACK part in MFP somewhere (Free version)? I just got a heart rate monitor that attaches to chest for my workout program (DDP YOGA APP). Might try to use in on my walks, bike rides, cardio videos, etc too.
-
bcalvanese - the ddp yoga isn't just regular yoga for flexibility - it's actually aimed to get your heart rate up to about 125-135 for 20-30 minutes straight each workout. It's called "not your momma's yoga" and the weight loss people see on it is crazy (combined with eating at calorie deficit) - people are losing 100,…

What rebounded do you all own? I have a budget of $100 or less - would like to add 20 minutes of this to the 20 minutes of yoga I do daily.

I started DDP Yoga App last Monday. It's a mix of yoga, isometric strength training, pilates, and flexibility. Was supposed to do three workouts per week. I'm planning on doing five. Plus two other simple workouts. So trying to be more active. Eating my 1900 calories a day. Trying to focus on more fruits and veggies that…

Signed up for DDP Yoga - low impact - tauted as "not your mamas yoga". Three times a week for 30 minutes. Then walking the other two days. Weekends off right now unless we go out for a hike or walking the dogs or something.

Got a link to the one you use? I am 295 right now (was 316 two months ago). Want to spend between $50-$75 but not have it snap and break on me either - ha ha.
