305lbs down to 190lbs. It takes a lot of dedication and sweat. Moving past the "I can't" to the "I will" is not easy but it is absolutely doable!! It took me a little over a year.

You're welcome @justlyn and thank you. It is my hope and prayer that my story and hard work can motivate others to get in the same path...forever!

Sorry @debtay123 , that last response is for @livingleanlivingclean

@debtay123 that's how its works for me. You will have to experiment to see what works for you. I don't eat them every time after a workout and I don't like to eat before a workout. I usually have a protein shake before workout. After a good weightlifting session I will incorporate slow carbs like sweet potatoes, quinoa,…

@debtay123 fast carbs are things like breads, pastas, sweets, processed frozen foods. If you crave any of that stuff the best time to eat it is right after a hard cardio session so your body burns it quick. But don't go over board.

Thanks! It took me one year. For the first 3 months it was straight cardio 7 days a week. After that I incorporated some weight training. I would do cardio in the morning and weights in the evening. After my doctor said I was losing weight too fast I slowed down to 4 times a week cardio and 2 days a week weights. Always…

Thank you so much! I eat lean meat like turkey, chicken and fish. I cook my turkey tenderloin and chicken in the crockpot with various spices and marinades (low sodium). Lots of green vegetables and water. For carbs I will eat sweet potatoes, quinoa, and oatmeal. I'm on no bread and no sugar for the rest of my life and it…

The only way I get mentally prepared for the day has to start with time alone with God and Bible study.

Thank you for your comment and I understand where you are coming from, however, for me (and I know me) it is absolutely imperative for me to flat out cross things like pizza off of my menu. It works for me and it's all about finding out what our individual bodies can and cannot handle and/or process. I applaud you for…
