Does your gym have an EZ bar, for curls? They weigh around 20-22 lbs, I started my son on OHP with an EZ bar.

Mine is setup to give me the protein and fat minimums I want with carbs filling in to reach my calorie goal. Percentages don't matter to me for macros, only target grams for protein and fat.

Are you doing 5x5 on squats? If so, it might be better to do the 3x5 or 3x3 options. Get the app if you don't already have it and you can select 5x5, 3x5 or 3x3. How long have you been doing SL? When I did SL, I started light and my OHP was the first to stall around 6 weeks or so.

What type of grip are you using? Thumbs under or thumbs over the bar? A thumbs under grip can cause pain if you lack flexibility.

At times I get anxiety on my way to the gym. It's a feeling like I don't belong there. I don't know where it comes from but I have to force myself to work through it.

I save calories for the end of the day just for ice cream or cookies or beer or 3rd helping from dinner.
