After losing 10 pounds my tshirts no longer fit me tight! That's when I noticed that I was losing inches...I can also fit my 12s and my 14s are loose.

I thought being a "vegetarian" was a good idea and burning more calories than I was taking in was a good idea. You can say that I starved myself. Bad, bad idea. I was 186 in May of 2007 and dropped to 120 by October 2007. My hair fell out in glops, I had bald spots, I looked anorexic so I started to eat meat/protein again.…

I developed plantar fascitis....it's very painful, so I'm hoping by dropping to a normal weight, my feet will go back to normal. Trying to avoid the surgery and steroid shots.

I meal prep everything and my food lasts longer. I make grab and go containers - everything is weighed.

The advice other will ask of you because you made it work! The new items in the grocery cart. Eating healthy becomes the norm. Eating unhealthy will make you sick!

Way to go! What was your greatest challenge though this?

Potato chips, egg rolls, french fries.....sabotage no more....I am determined to make my 30 day log in on April 27th. I turn 40 this summer so I'm extra determined. Add me as a friend.

Family Dollar. Right now the workout clothes are 25% off.

Yes! It works. It's all about putting the right amount of food together.

Trial and error. I use the app and log everything so that I know I'm within my range. Before you go shopping try to use everything in your pantry, fridge, and freezer. Throw a meal together and portion it out into containers.

One of my weaknesses - The Hamburger. I eat one once a year. That's it.

Plan and prep the food is more natural than supplement.

All the sugar in raisins.
-
I eat oatmeal every morning and I have a good portion of veggies on a daily basis.
-
Me too. And there's no trick. I weigh and meal prep 5 days worth of food to make it grab-and-go. It gets easier over time.

Clean them and then weigh them prior to cooking. You will have a more accurate count.

You're on the right track and have the right mindset....This is a change in lifestyle!!! Let's go through this together. Add me as a friend!

What every the weight is we are all trying to lose, we are in this together. Add me.

We have a team of ladies who power walk the building during their lunch hour. We work in a three-story building with several stair cases and they kinda do a stair blitz. They walk at a moderate pace, but it's better than eating at a desk. I sit all day, the last thing I want is to sit at my desk and eat. If you have a…

I had the same question, so I'm keeping a spreadsheet and logging actual weight and estimated date based on what MFP provides. Then I will compare it at the end to see how accurate it is.

Whatever the reason is for starting over, it's never too late. Add me.

I ditched the app and use my laptop. I log everything - good and bad - to hold myself accountable. Add me.

Changes to our lifestyle take time. It's a change in mindset. When I feel down, those are the days I work the hardest.

I know the feeling all too well. I've put on a lot of weight and am suffering from this condition. I went to the doctor and got a steroid shot, but that only removes the pain. I'm hoping dropping weight will help.

I've been staring at the big 4-0 and it's upon me this July. So is this weight loss that I want to lose. I'm shooting for 40 by 40....40 lbs by the time I'm 40. Can I do it? Yes I can. Add me as a friend.

We are all in this together. Some are first timers, some are returning (like me). It's never too late. I like what you said about logging everything no matter what you eat. It makes a huge difference to see how certain foods - even those we think are "healthy" or good for us, impact our intake and ultimate goal. Add me as…

First of all, let me start by saying that chicken breast is my least favorite food, but it's also the leanest and you can eat it as many times as you want throughout the week. 4-6 oz chicken breast 1 oz of grape tomatoes (cut in fourths) 1 oz shredded carrots 3 oz brussel sprouts (cut if fourths, this is also a great…

I had to make some real changes to my can't-do-without-it morning beverage. 1 cup of black coffee (caffeinated, of course) 1/4 cup of 2% milk 1 tsp of sugar ....and that's as fancy as it gets. The artificial sweeteners and creamers went out the door. It took me a while to get used to the change, but changes need to happen…

I love honey in my oatmeal, but it's high in sugar so I use cinnamon as a substitute. No calories, no sugar and it still flavors the oatmeal. This journey is about changing habits and we have to train ourselves to let go of those food choices that don't contribute to our weight loss journey. I love milk, I'm only drinking…

Funny, I don't have a mini goal, but maybe I should start making them now that you gave me the idea. I turn 40 in July and my long-term goal is to show up at my party as a new person! I'm doing that by logging my meals, prepping my food in advance, and exercising. Short-term???? Getting down in the 160s....I started in the…
