2 week hump...

So, I've been really successful before at weight loss and it seems to take getting over that 2 week hump. Often at 2 weeks I get so fed up that I just quit. Maybe I'm not eating enough when that happens? I intake 1200-1300 calories a day and if I exercise, most the time I put the calories back in because I find that I'm super hungry the next day if I don't do that. I'm 5'7", female, 29 and 175lbs. My goal is 155 (but, honestly I'm training for a half marathon and if I get down to 160, that's fine). I am a runner and tend to lose inches and not weight. This is fine- although super frustrating at times. But what are your tricks for sticking longer than 2 weeks? Thanks!

Rome wasnt built in a day.
You have to give it time..Commit
Once you start seeing results(and you will if you stick with it) the motivation kicks in and its great.
Since you know 2 weeks is your aggravating point, reward yourself for going three weeks
I think you should give yourself a little more time than 2 weeks. Good luck

2 weeks? I've been at this for 2.5 years. Patience is your friend when it comes to sustainable weight loss

Focus on your runs and proper fueling for them and try not to worry about the scale too much. I find exercise goals really help me get through the menotony of calorie counting sometimes.

Changes to our lifestyle take time. It's a change in mindset. When I feel down, those are the days I work the hardest.
